3. Impostazione
3.1 Installazione della batteria
- Unità di visualizzazione principale: Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the main display unit. Insert 2 x AA alkaline or lithium batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings (+/-). Replace the battery compartment cover.
- Sensore wireless: Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the wireless sensor. Insert 2 x AA alkaline or lithium batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings (+/-). Replace the battery compartment cover.
Nota: For best performance in low-temperature conditions (below -4°F / -20°C), use lithium batteries in the outdoor sensor.
3.2 Posizionamento del sensore
The wireless sensor is weather-resistant but not waterproof. For optimal performance and longevity, place the sensor in a location that is protected from direct sunlight and direct precipitation. An ideal location is under an eave or on a porch. The sensor features an integrated hanger for easy mounting.

3.3 Sincronizzazione iniziale
Once batteries are installed in both units, the main display unit will automatically search for the wireless sensor. This process may take a few minutes. Ensure both units are within range (up to 100 feet / 30 meters, line of sight). If the connection is not established, try relocating the sensor or pressing the 'reset' button on both units.

On the back of the main display unit, locate the °F/°C button. Press this button to toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius temperature display.

- Indoor Temperature (°F/°C): Displays the current temperature at the main display unit's location.
- Indoor Humidity (%): Displays the current humidity at the main display unit's location.

4.2 Daily High/Low Records

To clean the display unit and wireless sensor, wipe them with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or chemicals that may damage the surfaces.
