The Behringer DR600 DIGITAL REVERB is a digital stereo reverb effects pedal designed for guitarists and other musicians seeking studio-quality reverb effects in a compact stompbox format. It offers a versatile range of reverb types and intuitive controls for sound shaping.

This pedal features 24-bit high-resolution stereo reverbs, including Spring, Plate, Hall, Gate, Room, and Modulate. It is equipped with dedicated Mode, Time, Tone, and Level controls for comprehensive sound adjustment. The DR600 can be powered by a 9V battery or an optional BEHRINGER PSU-SB DC power supply.

A blue status LED indicates effect on/off status and battery check. The pedal incorporates a first-class electronic On/Off switch to ensure high signal integrity in bypass mode. Its robust construction is designed for long-term durability.

Configurazione e collegamenti

Before connecting the DR600, ensure all audio equipment is turned off to prevent damage from sudden signal spikes.

Alimentazione elettrica

  • Potenza della batteria: The DR600 requires one 9V battery (not included). To install, open the battery compartment on the underside of the pedal. The blue status LED will indicate battery status.
  • Adattatore per corrente alternata: For extended use, the pedal can be powered by an optional BEHRINGER PSU-SB DC power supply (not included). Connect the power supply to the 9V DC input jack.

Connessioni audio

The DR600 features stereo inputs and outputs for versatile connectivity.

  • Input A (IN A): Connect your instrument (e.g., guitar) or the output of a preceding effects pedal to this input using a 1/4-inch TS cable.
  • Input B (IN B): For stereo input, connect the second channel of your stereo signal source to this input.
  • Output A (OUT A): Collega questa uscita al tuo ampl'ingresso del lifier o l'ingresso del pedale successivo nella catena del segnale.
  • Output B (OUT B): For stereo output, connect this output to the second input of a stereo amplifier setup or mixer.

Operating the DR600

The DR600 is designed for ease of use with intuitive controls.

Controlli

  • Manopola LIVELLO: Controls the overall output level of the reverb effect. Turn clockwise to increase the effect volume.
  • Manopola TONE: Adjusts the tonal character of the reverb. From "LO" (low) to "HI" (high), this knob shapes the brightness or darkness of the reverb tail.
  • Manopola TIME: Determines the decay time or length of the reverb. Turn clockwise for longer, more expansive reverb tails.
  • Manopola MODALITÀ: Selects one of the six available reverb types:
    • PRIMAVERA: Emulates the classic sound of a spring reverb tank, often found in vintage chitarra amplificatori.
    • PIATTO: Simulates the smooth, dense decay of a plate reverb, commonly used in studio recordings.
    • SALA: Recreates the expansive and natural reverberation of a large concert hall.
    • CANCELLO: Produces a reverb tail that is abruptly cut off, creating a dramatic and percussive effect.
    • CAMERA: Simulates the acoustics of a smaller, more intimate room, providing a natural and subtle ambiance.
    • MODULARE: Adds modulation (e.g., chorus or flanger-like movement) to the reverb tail, creating a swirling, ethereal effect.
  • ON/BATT LED: This blue LED illuminates when the effect is active. It also serves as a battery check indicator; if the LED dims or does not light up, the battery may need replacement.
  • Interruttore a pedale: Engages or bypasses the reverb effect. Press the footswitch to toggle between effect on and bypass modes. The electronic switch ensures signal integrity when bypassed.

Manutenzione

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your DR600 pedal.

Sostituzione della batteria

When the ON/BATT LED dims or the effect performance degrades, it's time to replace the 9V battery. Turn off all connected equipment, open the battery compartment, remove the old battery, and insert a new one, observing polarity. Close the compartment securely.

Pulizia

Clean the pedal's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish and internal components. Ensure no liquids enter the pedal's housing.

Magazzinaggio

If storing the pedal for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent leakage and potential damage. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
