4. Impostazione

4.1. Installazione della batteria

5. Istruzioni per l'uso

Follow these steps to perform an alcohol concentration test:

1. Accensione: Press the ON button located on the front of the device, below the display.
2. Riscaldamento: The device will begin a countdown. This is the warm-up phase for the sensor.
3. Preparatevi a far saltare in aria: Once the countdown reaches zero, you will hear two beeps, and the display will show three lines followed by the word "START" flashing. This indicates the device is ready for a breath samplui.
4. Provide Breath Sampon: Take a deep breath. Then, blow continuously and steadily into the mouthpiece for approximately 5 seconds. Moving lines may appear on the display during this process.

6. Spegnimento automatico: The device will automatically power off after displaying the result to conserve battery life.

6. Manutenzione

6.1. Mouthpiece Care

• For hygiene, it is recommended to use a new mouthpiece for each test, especially when multiple users are involved.
• Mouthpieces can be cleaned and reused by soaking them in a disinfectant solution (e.g., Amuchina) for about 15 minutes, then rinsing thoroughly and air-drying.

When the "BAt" message appears on the display, the batteries are low and should be replaced immediately with new AAA 1.5V alkaline batteries to ensure accurate readings.

6.3. Calibrazione

To maintain the high precision of the ACE DA-7100, it is recommended to send the device for professional calibration. This should ideally be done:

• After a maximum of 12 months from the first use.
• After approximately 500 measurements.
