2. Configurazione e installazione

Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance of your Elite-7x HDI Fishfinder.

2.1 Montaggio dell'unità display

  1. Choose a secure, accessible location on your boat, away from direct sunlight and excessive vibration.
  2. Use the included mounting bracket as a template to mark drill holes.
  3. Drill pilot holes and secure the bracket using appropriate marine-grade fasteners.
  4. Attach the Elite-7x HDI unit to the mounting bracket.

2.2 Transducer Installation (Transom Mount)

The included transom mount transducer should be installed on the boat's transom, ensuring it is submerged in clean, non-turbulent water when the boat is underway.

  1. Select a mounting location on the transom that is free from obstructions and turbulence caused by the hull or propeller.
  2. Ensure the transducer face is parallel to the waterline.
  3. Segnare e praticare i fori per la staffa di montaggio.
  4. Secure the transducer bracket and attach the transducer, adjusting its angle for optimal performance.
  5. Route the transducer cable away from electrical interference and sharp edges, securing it with cable clamps.

2.3 Collegamenti di alimentazione e cavi

  1. Connect the power cable to a 12V DC power source, ensuring proper polarity (red to positive, black to negative).
  2. Connect the transducer cable to the corresponding port on the back of the Elite-7x HDI unit.
  3. Assicurarsi che tutti i collegamenti siano sicuri e impermeabili.

3. Istruzioni per l'uso
