The Harper UD888 is a compact espresso machine designed for ease of use and quick coffee preparation. It features a 1000W heating element and 2.5 bars of pressure.

3. Configurazione e primo utilizzo

Before using your Harper UD888 for the first time, follow these steps:

2. Pulito: Wash the water reservoir, filter holder, coffee filters, and ceramic cup with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.

4. Riempire il serbatoio dell'acqua: Open the top lid and fill the 0.3L water reservoir with fresh, cold water. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.

5. Ciclo di risciacquo iniziale: Without adding coffee, place an empty cup on the drip tray. Plug in the machine and press the On/Off button. Allow the machine to run a full cycle to flush out any manufacturing residues. Discard the water. Repeat this process 2-3 times.

4. Istruzioni per l'uso

Follow these steps to brew coffee with your Harper UD888:

1. Preparare l'acqua: Ensure the water reservoir is filled with fresh, cold water up to the desired level for your coffee.
2. Inserisci filtro: Choose one of the two provided filters based on your preferred coffee intensity. Place the filter into the filter holder.

3. Aggiungi caffè: Add your preferred ground coffee or compatible coffee pod into the filter. Do not overfill.
4. Coppa del posto: Position the ceramic cup (or another suitable cup) on the drip tray directly under the coffee outlet.
5. Inizia a preparare la birra: Plug in the machine and press the On/Off button. The machine will begin heating and then brewing.

6. Finish Brewing: The machine will automatically stop once the brewing cycle is complete.
7. Godere: Carefully remove your cup and enjoy your coffee.
8. Spegni: Press the On/Off button to turn off the machine if it does not automatically power down. Unplug the machine from the outlet after use.

5. Pulizia e manutenzione

• Pulizia giornaliera: After each use, unplug the machine and allow it to cool. Remove and empty the filter holder and drip tray. Wash these parts, along with the filters and cup, with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
• Pulizia esterna: Pulire l'esterno della macchina con un panno morbido, damp stoffa. Non utilizzare detergenti abrasivi o pagliette.
• Decalcificazione: Over time, mineral deposits can build up in the machine. Descale your machine every 2-3 months, or more frequently if you have hard water. Use a commercial descaling solution suitable for coffee machines, following the product's instructions. Alternatively, you can use a solution of white vinegar and water (1 part vinegar to 2 parts water). Run the descaling solution through the machine as if brewing coffee, then run several cycles of plain water to rinse thoroughly.
• Magazzinaggio: When not in use for an extended period, ensure the machine is clean and dry. Store it in a cool, dry place.
