1. Disimballaggio: Carefully remove the soldering iron from its packaging. Inspect it for any signs of damage.
2. Posizionamento: Place the soldering iron in a stable, heat-resistant stand on a clean, well-ventilated workbench. Ensure there is no flammable material nearby.

4. Initial Heating and Tinning:
   • Allow the iron to heat up for approximately 3-5 minutes until it reaches operating temperature.
   • Once hot, apply a small amount of solder to the tip. This process, called tinning, helps protect the tip from oxidation and ensures efficient heat transfer. The tip should be shiny and coated with solder.
   • Wipe any excess solder on a damp sponge or brass wool tip cleaner.

2. Applicare calore: Place the hot, tinned tip of the soldering iron onto both the component lead and the PCB pad simultaneously. Hold it there for a few seconds to allow both surfaces to heat up.
3. Applicare la saldatura: Once the joint is hot enough, touch the solder wire to the junction of the component lead and the PCB pad, non directly to the soldering iron tip. The solder should melt and flow smoothly around the joint, forming a shiny, cone-shaped connection.
4. Remove Solder and Iron: Once enough solder has flowed, remove the solder wire first, then remove the soldering iron.
5. Lasciare raffreddare: Do not move the component until the solder has solidified (usually a few seconds). A good solder joint will appear shiny and smooth.
