4. Impostazione

  1. Posizionamento: Place the air compressor on a stable, level surface in a well-ventilated area. Ensure there is adequate space around the compressor for air circulation.
  2. Collegare il tubo dell'aria: Connect one end of the air hose to the air outlet on the compressor and the other end to the air inlet on the bottom of the airbrush handle. Ensure connections are secure to prevent air leaks.
  3. Collegamento elettrico: Plug the compressor's power adapter into a suitable grounded electrical outlet.
  4. Preparare la vernice: Mix your chosen paint to the appropriate consistency for airbrushing. Most airbrush paints require thinning. Use a dropper to add paint to the airbrush's gravity cup. Do not overfill.

5. Istruzioni per l'uso

  1. Accensione: Turn on the air compressor using the power switch. The compressor will begin to build pressure.
  2. Regola la pressione: Use the pressure regulator knob on the compressor to set the desired working pressure. The recommended working pressure for the BD-130 airbrush is 15-50 PSI, depending on paint type and desired effect.
  3. Controllo a doppia azione: The BD-130 is a double-action airbrush.
    • Pressing the trigger down releases air.
    • Pulling the trigger back controls the amount of paint released.
Practice this control on a scrap surface to get a feel for the air and paint flow.
  4. Tecnica di spruzzatura:
    • Hold the airbrush approximately 2-6 inches (5-15 cm) from your surface.
    • Always start air flow before paint flow, and stop paint flow before air flow, to prevent paint splattering.
    • Move your hand in smooth, consistent strokes.
  5. Arresto: When finished, release the trigger, turn off the compressor, and disconnect the power.

6. Manutenzione

Proper cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the longevity and performance of your airbrush equipment.

6.1 Airbrush Cleaning (After Each Use)

  1. Contenitore di vernice vuoto: Pour any remaining paint from the gravity cup.
  2. Flush with Cleaner: Add a small amount of appropriate airbrush cleaner or solvent to the paint cup. Spray it through the airbrush onto a paper towel or into a cleaning pot until the spray runs clear.
  3. Back-Flush: Cover the airbrush nozzle with your finger or a cap and press the trigger for air, allowing air to bubble back into the paint cup. This helps dislodge paint from the needle and nozzle. Repeat with fresh cleaner.
  4. Disassemble (Periodically): For thorough cleaning, carefully disassemble the airbrush (needle, nozzle, cap). Clean each component with a brush and cleaner. Be extremely careful with the needle and nozzle as they are delicate.
  5. Rimontare: Reassemble the airbrush, ensuring all parts are correctly aligned and tightened. Do not overtighten.

6.2 Compressor Maintenance

  • Mantenere pulito: Pulisci l'esterno del compressore con un pannoamp cloth. Ensure air vents are free from dust and debris.
  • Drain Moisture (if applicable): Some compressors have a moisture trap or drain valve. If yours does, drain any accumulated moisture regularly.
  • Magazzinaggio: Store the compressor in a dry, dust-free environment when not in use.
