1. Introduzione

3. Impostazione

3.1 Disimballaggio

Carefully unpack your KM1700 amplifier. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage that may have occurred during transit. If damage is found, contact your dealer immediately.

3.2 Posizionamento e ventilazione

The KM1700 is designed for rack mounting but can also be used as a tabletop unit. Ensure adequate ventilation around the amplifier. Do not block the front or rear ventilation grilles. Maintain at least 4 inches (10 cm) of clear space around the unit for proper airflow.

3.3 Connessioni

Collega la tua sorgente audio (mixer, preamplifier, etc.) to the KM1700's input connectors. The KM1700 features balanced XLR and 1/4" TRS input jacks for each channel (Channel A and Channel B). Use high-quality shielded cables for optimal performance.

• LEVEL Controls (CH A, CH B): Rotary knobs to adjust the output level for each channel. Start with these at minimum (fully counter-clockwise) when powering on.

  • STEREO: Each channel operates independently, amplifying its own input signal to its own output.
  • MONO (Parallel): Both channels receive the signal from Channel A input, but operate independently. Useful for driving two separate speaker systems with the same mono signal.
  • PONTE: Combines both channels into a single, more powerful mono output. Use only with a single speaker connected to the BRIDGE output (typically SpeakON). Ensure the speaker impedance is suitable for bridged operation (e.g., 8 ohms minimum).
• LIMITER Switch: Activates or deactivates the built-in limiter. The limiter prevents excessive output levels that could cause clipping and speaker damage. It is generally recommended to keep the limiter engaged.
