4. Installazione

The CIARRA CBCS6102 range hood can be installed in two configurations: ducted (extraction) or recirculation.

4.1 Dimensions and Mounting Height

Refer to the diagram below for product dimensions and recommended mounting heights. The hood should be installed at a minimum distance of 65cm above an electric hob and 75cm above a gas hob.

4.2 Ducted (Extraction) Mode

In ducted mode, cooking fumes and odors are extracted from the kitchen and expelled outside through an exhaust duct. Ensure the duct is properly sealed and leads to an external vent.

4.3 Recirculation Mode

For recirculation mode, the air is filtered through carbon filters (CBCF003) to remove odors and then returned to the kitchen. The carbon filters are included with your unit. No external ducting is required for this mode.
