Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use. Insert the 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Compact 2.0Ah Battery (BL1820B) into the 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Rapid Optimum Charger (DC18RC). The charger will indicate charging status. Once fully charged, slide the battery into the vacuum's battery slot until it clicks securely into place.
