4. Configurazione e installazione del driver

4.1 Step 1: Connect the Adapter

1. Collegare il Connettore femmina DB9 of the adapter to the DB9 male serial port of your device (e.g., modem, scanner). Ensure the screws are tightened for a secure connection.

• For Windows 7/8/8.1/10/11: If your computer is connected to the internet, the operating system should automatically detect the adapter and install the necessary drivers.

• After driver installation, it is recommended to restart your computer to ensure proper functionality.

  • Importante: This adapter features a female RS232 connector and is compatible only with devices that have a male RS232 port. It does NON support RS485 connections.
  • If your device requires a null modem connection, you may need to use this serial adapter with a separate null modem adapter.
