Requisiti di sistema

To ensure optimal performance, your environment must meet the following specifications:

• Router wifi: 2.4 GHz 802.11 b, g, or n compatible.
• Smartphone o tablet: iOS 8+ or Android 4.4+ operating system.
• Connessione Internet: Minimum 1.0 Mbps download bandwidth per camera.

Impostare

1. Posizionamento della telecamera

Scegli una posizione che fornisca il desiderato viewing angle and is within range of your Wi-Fi network. The camera can be placed on a flat surface or mounted to a wall.

2. Montaggio a parete (opzionale)

If mounting to a wall, use the provided wall mount bracket and hooks. Ensure the mounting surface is stable and can support the camera's weight.

3. Collegamento elettrico

Connect the camera adapter to the camera and then plug it into a power outlet. The camera will power on automatically.

4. Connessione di rete

The camera supports Wi-Fi connectivity. Follow the instructions in the Quick Start Guide to connect your camera to your home Wi-Fi network using the VTech mobile application.

Note: An RJ45 Ethernet cable is included for initial setup or wired connection if preferred.

The VTech VC990 IP Camera is primarily controlled via a dedicated mobile application on your smartphone or tablet. Download the official VTech camera application from your device's app store.

Manutenzione

Pulizia della fotocamera

To clean the camera lens and body, use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or aerosol sprays, as these can damage the device. Ensure the camera is unplugged before cleaning.

Periodically check the VTech mobile application for available firmware updates for your camera. Keeping the firmware updated ensures optimal performance and security.

Operate the camera within recommended temperature and humidity ranges. Avoid exposing the camera to direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, or excessive moisture.

• Reduce the distance between the camera and the Wi-Fi router, or eliminate obstructions.
• Check for other devices consuming significant bandwidth on your network.

• Verify that motion detection is enabled in the camera's settings within the mobile application.
• Adjust the motion sensitivity settings if necessary.
• Ensure the camera is not in sleep mode.
