Informazioni sulla sicurezza

La tua sicurezza e quella degli altri sono fondamentali. Segui sempre queste linee guida di sicurezza:

  • Always point the crossbow in a safe direction. Never point it at anything you do not intend to shoot.
  • Keep fingers and thumb below the flight track. The crossbow features Finger Safety reminders to prevent injury from the string path.
  • Ensure the Anti-Dry Fire (ADF) Trigger System is engaged. This system prevents the crossbow from firing without an arrow properly seated.
  • Use only approved arrows. Refer to specifications for recommended arrow length and weight.
  • Indossare una protezione per gli occhi adeguata.
  • Never cock or de-cock the crossbow with your fingers on the trigger.
  • Store the crossbow uncocked and unloaded in a secure location.

Istruzioni per l'uso

Cocking the Crossbow

Always use the provided rope cocking device for safe and consistent cocking. This ensures even tension on the string and engages the safety mechanisms correctly.

  1. Place the foot stirrup on the ground and hold the crossbow firmly.
  2. Attach the hooks of the rope cocking device to the crossbow string, ensuring they are evenly spaced.
  3. Pull the rope upwards with steady, even pressure until the string engages the trigger mechanism and the safety automatically engages.
  4. Remove the rope cocking device. The Anti-Dry Fire (ADF) system should now be active, preventing accidental discharge.

Loading an Arrow

With the crossbow cocked and the safety engaged:

  1. Ensure the arrow is a 22" Headhunter™ arrow or equivalent, with the correct nock orientation.
  2. Slide the arrow into the flight track, ensuring the nock fully engages the string and the arrow rests against the Soft Lok Floating Bristle Arrow Retainer.
  3. Verify that the arrow is seated correctly and the broadhead (if used) clears the riser.

Firing the Crossbow

Before firing, always confirm your target and what is beyond it.

  1. With the arrow loaded and the crossbow pointed in a safe direction, disengage the safety.
  2. Place your finger on the TriggerTech Frictionless Release Technology trigger.
  3. Aim carefully and squeeze the trigger smoothly to fire.

Decocking the Crossbow

Never dry fire the crossbow. If you need to de-cock without shooting, refer to the full manual for safe de-cocking procedures, which typically involve using a discharge arrow or a specific de-cocking method.

Scope Adjustment and Sighting

The 4x32mm Multi-Reticle Scope requires sighting in for accuracy. This process involves shooting at a target at a known distance and adjusting the scope's windage and elevation turrets until the point of impact matches the point of aim.

  • Begin sighting at a close range (e.g., 20 yards) to ensure arrows hit the target.
  • Adjust the elevation turret to move the point of impact up or down.
  • Adjust the windage turret to move the point of impact left or right.
  • Once sighted at the initial range, confirm accuracy at longer distances, utilizing the multi-reticle system for different ranges.

Manutenzione

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your crossbow.

  • Ceratura di corde e cavi: Apply the provided lubrication wax to the string and cables regularly (e.g., every 5-10 shots) to reduce friction and extend their lifespan.
  • Ispezione: Before each use, inspect the string, cables, limbs, and all fasteners for any signs of wear, damage, or looseness.
  • Pulizia: Keep the crossbow clean and free of dirt and debris. Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
  • Magazzinaggio: Store the crossbow in a cool, dry place, uncocked, and away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
