The compact wireless outdoor sensor transmits temperature and humidity data to the main unit. It is designed to be splash-resistant but not fully waterproof, requiring placement in a sheltered location.

4. Impostazione

4.1 Alimentazione

The main unit can be powered by the included AC/DC adapter or by 2x AA batteries (not included). The outdoor sensor requires 2x AA batteries (not included).

  1. Unità principale: Insert 2x AA batteries into the battery compartment on the back of the main unit, observing polarity. For continuous backlight and full functionality, connect the AC/DC adapter to the power input port on the side of the main unit and plug it into a wall outlet.

The main unit can be powered by an AC adapter for continuous display illumination or by 2x AA batteries for portable use (backlight activates briefly with button press).

For optimal performance, place the outdoor sensor within 60 meters (196 feet) of the main unit in an open area. Avoid direct sunlight and rain exposure for the outdoor sensor, as it is splash-resistant but not fully waterproof. A sheltered location is recommended.

  1. Place the outdoor sensor in your desired outdoor location.
  2. Ensure the main unit and outdoor sensor are within effective transmission range. The system will automatically attempt to synchronize. This process may take a few minutes.
  3. If synchronization fails, press and hold the "MEM" button on the main unit to initiate a manual search for the outdoor sensor.

4.3 Time, Date, and Alarm Settings

After initial power-up, the unit will attempt to receive a radio-controlled time signal. This process can take 3-7 minutes, during which the screen may temporarily turn off to ensure an undisturbed signal. If automatic synchronization is not successful or you wish to set it manually:

  1. Press and hold the "Date & Time" button on the side of the main unit to enter time setting mode.
  2. Use the "+" and "-" buttons (often integrated with other functions) to adjust values.
  3. Press the "Date & Time" button again to confirm each setting and move to the next (e.g., 12/24 hour format, hour, minute, year, month, day).
  4. To set the alarm, press and hold the "Alarm Clock" button and follow a similar procedure.

5.2 Funzione sveglia e snooze

  • To activate/deactivate the alarm, press the "Alarm Clock" button briefly. An alarm icon will appear/disappear on the display.
  • When the alarm sounds, press the "Snooze" button (located on top) to activate the snooze function. The alarm will sound again after a few minutes.
  • To stop the alarm completely, press any other button except "Snooze".
