Impostare

1. Collegamento elettrico

  1. Connect the provided AC adapter to the clock's power input jack.
  2. Plug the AC adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The display will illuminate.

2. Installazione della batteria di backup (facoltativa)

For uninterrupted alarm function and to retain time/alarm settings during power interruptions, install backup batteries.

  1. Locate the battery backup compartment on the rear of the clock.
  2. Aprire il coperchio del vano.
  3. Insert 2 AAA batteries (not included), observing the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Chiudere saldamente il coperchio del vano.

Note: During battery backup operation, the clock's display will not be lit to conserve power. Settings are maintained, and the alarm will still sound. The display will re-light once AC power is restored.

Istruzioni per l'uso

Sincronizzazione del tempo atomico

The clock automatically attempts to synchronize with the WWVB atomic time signal. This process may take up to 3 days to establish a strong signal. For best reception, place the clock near a window.

  • During the atomic signal search, the screen may temporarily go dark. It will re-illuminate once the signal is located and time is set.
  • The atomic clock will automatically adjust for Daylight Saving Time (DST) if the DST setting is enabled.

Setting Time Zone and DST

Use the buttons on the rear panel (refer to Figure 3).

  1. Premere il tasto FUSO ORARIO button repeatedly to cycle through available time zones (e.g., PST, MST, CST, EST).
  2. Premere il tasto Ora legale button to toggle Daylight Saving Time ON or OFF.

Manual Time and Calendar Setting

If atomic synchronization is not desired or unavailable, you can set the time and calendar manually.

  1. Premere e tenere premuto il tasto IMPOSTAZIONE DELL'ORA finché il display dell'ora non lampeggia.
  2. Utilizzare il + or - pulsanti per regolare l'ora. Premere IMPOSTAZIONE DELL'ORA di nuovo per confermare e passare ai minuti.

  4. Repeat this process for setting the year, month, and day using the CALENDARIO button to cycle through settings and + or - per regolare i valori.

The clock features two independent alarms, Alarm 1 and Alarm 2.

  4. To activate or deactivate Alarm 1, press the ALLARME 1 button. An "ALARM 1 ON" indicator will appear or disappear on the display (refer to Figure 4).
  5. Ripetere i passaggi da 1 a 4 per ALLARME 2 INSERITO E ALLARME 2 buttons to set the second alarm.

Snooze and Dimmer Function

Il grande SNOOZE/DIMMER button on top of the clock serves two functions:

  • Posticipa: When an alarm sounds, press this button to temporarily silence the alarm for a few minutes (default snooze duration). The alarm will sound again after the snooze period.
  • dimmer: When the alarm is not sounding, press this button repeatedly to cycle through different display brightness levels (e.g., High, Medium, Low).

Manutenzione

  • Pulizia: Pulire l'esterno dell'orologio con un panno morbido e asciutto. Non utilizzare detergenti abrasivi o solventi.
  • Sostituzione della batteria: Replace backup batteries annually or when the clock fails to retain settings during a power outage.

Display is blank or dark.
  • Ensure the AC adapter is securely plugged into both the clock and a working power outlet.
  • If using battery backup, the display will be dark to conserve power. It will re-light when AC power is restored.
  • The screen temporarily goes dark while searching for the atomic signal. This is normal and will re-illuminate once synchronized.
  • Press the SNOOZE/DIMMER button to adjust brightness.
