The Tare function allows you to weigh items in a container by subtracting the container's weight. Place an empty container on the scale, then press the TARA button. The display will reset to '0.0'. You can then add items to the container, and the scale will display only the net weight of the items.

The counting function is useful for determining the number of small, uniform items. To use this feature:

1. With the scale on and showing '0.0', press the PZ pulsante.
2. The display will show a sample size (e.g., '25'). Place the corresponding number of items (e.g., 25 pieces) on the scale.

Auto Shut-off Too Soon/Not Shutting Off

• When powered by batteries, the scale has a 5-minute auto-shutoff feature. This is normal to conserve battery life.
• When powered by the AC adapter, the scale will remain on continuously and will not auto-shut off.
