1. Introduzione

2. Configurazione e installazione

The MIDIFLEX4 is designed for straightforward setup due to its USB class-compliant nature. No special drivers are required for most operating systems.

2.1 Connecting to Your Computer or iOS Device

  1. Connect the MIDIFLEX4 to an available USB port on your computer (macOS or Windows) or iOS device (using an appropriate adapter, not included).
  2. The device will be automatically recognized by your operating system.
  3. Open your Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) software or any MIDI application. The MIDIFLEX4 ports will appear in the MIDI settings of your software.

2.2 Connecting MIDI Gear

Connect your external MIDI instruments, controllers, or other MIDI devices to the MIDI ports on the MIDIFLEX4. The interface features automatic port detection, which identifies whether a port is configured as an input or an output.

3.1 MIDI Port Configuration

When connected to a computer, the MIDIFLEX4's ports can be configured within your DAW or MIDI software. The device supports the following configurations:

3.2 Stand-Alone MIDI Merge and Split Functions

The MIDIFLEX4 can operate in stand-alone mode without a computer, functioning as a MIDI merge or split box. This requires an external power supply (not included) connected to the USB port.

  1. Connect an external 5V DC power supply to the USB port of the MIDIFLEX4.

    • 2-to-1 MIDI Merge: Combines MIDI data from two input sources into a single output stream.

4. Included Software: Bitwig 8-Track

The MIDIFLEX4 includes a license for Bitwig 8-Track, a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) that allows you to produce, perform, and design sounds. This software provides a comprehensive environment for music creation.

5. Manutenzione
