5.2. Pulizia

To clean the enclosure, power it off and disconnect all cables. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Avoid using liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.

6. Risoluzione Dei Problemi

  • Drives not recognized:
    • Ensure all drives are properly seated in their trays.
    • Verify the USB cable is securely connected to both the enclosure and the computer.
    • Prova una porta USB diversa sul tuo computer.
    • If using the included USB-C cable and experiencing instability, consider using a certified USB4 cable, especially with certain mini PCs or specific USB controllers.
    • Check your operating system's disk management utility to see if the drives need to be initialized or formatted.
  • Velocità di trasferimento basse:
    • Ensure your computer's USB port supports USB 3.1 Gen2 (10Gbps). Connecting to an older USB 2.0 or 3.0 port will result in lower speeds.
    • Verify the USB cable used is rated for USB 3.1 Gen2 speeds.
  • Enclosure making unusual noise:
    • Check if the cooling fan vents are clear of obstructions.
    • Ensure the enclosure is placed on a stable, flat surface.
    • Some fan noise is normal during operation, especially under heavy load.
  • "Unknown USB Device" error during safe removal:
    • This can occur due to specific USB controller behavior. As long as the device is powered off before physical disconnection, data integrity should be maintained.
