4. Impostazione

4.1 Ricarica del dispositivo

Before initial use, it is recommended to fully charge the built-in 1800mAh battery. Connect the provided 5V power adapter to the DC/Type-C port on the device and plug it into a power outlet. The device can also be charged via a computer's USB port using the TYPE-C USB cable.

4.2 Inserimento del supporto di memorizzazione

The capture box supports both USB flash drives and SD cards for storing recorded videos. Ensure the storage media is formatted to FAT32 or exFAT, and has a maximum capacity of 128GB. For optimal performance, use a Class 10 or higher speed class SD card.

  1. Locate the SD card slot or USB port on the side of the device.
  2. Insert the SD card or USB flash drive firmly into the respective slot until it clicks into place.

To format a USB flash drive or SD card using the device:

  1. Press the "Menu" button to enter the menu options.
  2. Navigate to and select the "Format" option.
  3. Press the "OK" button to enter the format interface.
  4. Select the "YES" option and press the "OK" button to confirm formatting.

The device supports both HDMI and AV input sources.

  • Ingresso HDMI: Connect an HDMI cable from your video source (e.g., gaming console, DVD player, TV box) to the HDMI IN port on the capture box.
  • Ingresso AV: Use the provided AV cable to connect your analog video source (e.g., VCR, VHS Tapes, Hi8, Camcorder) to the AV IN port on the capture box. Ensure correct color-coding for video (yellow) and audio (red/white).

4.4 Connecting Output (Optional)

A view the video on a larger screen while recording or playing back, connect an HDMI cable from the Uscita HDMI port on the capture box to your TV or monitor. Alternatively, use the AV cable from the AV OUT port for analog output.

5. Istruzioni per l'uso

5.1 Accensione/Spegnimento

Press and hold the Power button (located on the top side) for a few seconds to turn the device on or off.

5.2 Navigazione nell'interfaccia

Use the control buttons on the right side of the screen:

  • MENU: Accedi al menu delle impostazioni principali.
  • DIREZIONI: Switch between recording mode and playback mode.
  • PREV (Up Arrow): Navigate up in menus or select previous file in riproduzione.
  • OK: Confirm selection, start/stop recording, or play/pause in playback.

5.3 Registrazione video

Ensure your input source is turned on and providing a signal before attempting to record.

  1. Connect your video source to the appropriate input port (HDMI IN or AV IN).
  2. Power on the DIGITNOW HD Video Capture Box.
  3. The live video feed from your source should appear on the 5-inch OLED screen.
  4. Premere il tasto OK button to begin recording. A recording indicator will typically appear on the screen.
  5. Premere il tasto OK button again to stop recording. The recorded video file will be saved to your inserted SD card or USB flash drive.

Nota importante: This device automatically splits longer recordings into MOV video files that are 4 GB each. For 1080p input, files are segmented approximately every 20 minutes. For 720p input, files are segmented approximately every 40 minutes. If you wish to combine a longer recording into one file, this must be done on a computer after recording.

5.4 Playing Back Recorded Videos

  1. Premere il tasto MODALITÀ pulsante per passare alla modalità di riproduzione.
  2. Utilizzare il PRECEDENTE (Su) e PROSSIMO (Down) buttons to browse through your recorded video files.
  3. Premere il tasto OK button to play the selected video. Press OK again to pause/resume playback.

6. Risoluzione Dei Problemi

  • No Audio/Video Signal: Before pressing the REC button, ensure input sources (e.g., set-top boxes, computers, game consoles) are turned on and providing an audio or video signal. Verify that all cables are securely connected to both the input sources and the device.
  • Device Crashes/Seizes Up: If the product crashes or the software seizes up, use a needle or similar object to push the mini hole labeled "RESET" at the back of the product to reset the device.
  • Black Screen/Device Not Turning On: If the screen remains black despite pressing the on/off menu button for a protracted period, the battery may be depleted. Connect the charger and try again.
  • Recording Issues (Incorrect Format/Low Speed): Ensure you are using an SD card with a transfer speed of Class 10 or above. Before using a USB flash drive or an SD card, make sure to set the format to FAT32 or exFAT, and the maximum capacity to 128GB. Incorrect format or a low speed level SD card may affect the normal use of the device.
  • Video Recording Not Successful: If you do not succeed in recording video material, the cables may be incorrectly connected or connected too loosely. Double-check all connections.
