4. Configurazione e installazione

4.1. Elenco di controllo pre-installazione

• Scheda madre compatibile: Ensure your motherboard has an LGA1200 socket and uses an Intel 500 series or select 400 series chipset. Refer to your motherboard's documentation for specific compatibility.

4.2. Installazione del processore

2. Allinea il processore: Carefully remove the processor from its packaging. Locate the alignment notches on the processor and the socket. The gold triangle on the processor should align with the triangle on the socket.
3. Inserire il processore: Gently place the processor into the socket. Do not force it. If it does not seat easily, re-check the alignment.
4. Proteggere il processore: Close the load plate and then push down the retention lever until it locks into place.

4.3. Thermal Solution (CPU Cooler) Installation

The Intel® Laminar RM1 thermal solution is designed for easy installation.

1. Preparare il frigorifero: The included cooler typically has pre-applied thermal paste on its base. If not, apply a thin, even layer of high-quality thermal paste to the center of the processor's IHS.
