  • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the turntable.
  • For the dust cover, use a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals that may scratch or damage the plastic.

6.2 Cura dello stilo

  • Avoid touching the stylus with your fingers, as oils and dirt can degrade sound quality and damage the stylus.
  • Replace the stylus when you notice a degradation in sound quality or after approximately 300-500 hours of playback, depending on usage.

7. Risoluzione Dei Problemi

If you experience issues with your turntable, consult the following common problems and solutions:

  • Nessun potere: Ensure the power cord is securely connected to both the turntable and a working power outlet. Check the power switch on the back of the unit.
  • Nessun suono o suono basso:
    • Verify that the RCA cables are correctly connected to your audio system's inputs.
    • Check the "LINE/PHONO" switch setting. If your amplifier has a PHONO input, set the switch to PHONO. If not, set it to LINE.
    • Assicurati che amplifier/speakers are powered on and the volume is turned up.
    • Confirm the stylus is properly seated in the cartridge and not damaged.
  • Suono distorto:
    • Check the tracking force and anti-skate settings. Incorrect settings can cause distortion.
    • Clean the stylus. A dirty stylus can cause distorted sound.
    • Verify the drive belt is properly installed and not stretched or worn.
    • Use the pitch control to fine-tune the speed until the strobe dots appear stationary.
    • If using the PHONO output, ensure your amplifier has a proper ground connection if available (this model does not have a dedicated ground wire, so ensure other components are grounded).
