1. Introduzione

4.1 Attaching to Steerer Tube

1. Remove your existing stem from the bicycle's steerer tube.
2. Slide the M-Wave ST-C2.1 stem onto the 1 1/8 inch steerer tube. Ensure the stem is oriented correctly.
3. Install the top cap and bolt, tightening it just enough to remove play from the headset, but allowing the fork to turn freely.

4.2 Attaching Handlebar

1. Loosen the four bolts on the front faceplate of the stem.
2. Carefully position your 31.8 mm diameter handlebar into the stem's clamp zona.
3. Re-install the faceplate and its four bolts.
4. Tighten the four faceplate bolts evenly in a cross pattern, gradually increasing torque until the specified value (typically 5-6 N.m for handlebars) is reached. Ensure there is an even gap between the faceplate and the stem body.

5. Funzionamento e regolazione

The M-Wave ST-C2.1 stem allows for angle adjustment from 0° to 90° to customize your riding position.

1. Locate the main adjustment bolt on the side of the stem, near the steerer clamp.
2. Loosen this adjustment bolt sufficiently to allow the stem body to pivot. Do not remove the bolt completely.
3. Adjust the stem to your desired angle. Reference the angle markings (0, 10, 20... 90) printed on the stem body for precise positioning.
4. Once the desired angle is set, tighten the adjustment bolt firmly. Refer to the torque specification, which is typically 9-10 N.m.
5. After adjustment, always check that the handlebar is secure and does not rotate or slip.
