Istruzioni di installazione

Follow these steps to set up your Comgrow Filament Dryer:

1. Install the Upper Cover:

   Carefully align the upper transparent cover with the base unit. Ensure the hinges are properly engaged. Pull out the hinge pins, align the cover, and then push the pins back in to secure it.

   Locate the power jack on the side of the unit. Open the sealing cap and connect the provided power adapter. Plug the adapter into a suitable power outlet.

3. Caricare il filamento:

   Unlock the snap button and open the upper cover. Place up to two 1kg filament spools inside the dryer. The dryer can accommodate spools with a diameter of up to 70mm or a bobbin up to 150mm in width.

   If you intend to print while drying, open the plug on the upper cover and pull the filament out through the outlet. Close the upper cover securely.

The Comgrow Filament Dryer features intuitive controls for optimal drying.

1. Accensione:

   Premere il pulsante di accensione (U) to start the unit. The screen will display the current temperature and humidity inside the box.
2. Imposta temperatura:

   Premere il pulsante funzione (M) to enter temperature setting mode. Use the up/down buttons to adjust the temperature (40°C–50°C). The display will cycle between temperature and humidity readings every 5 seconds during operation.

3. Impostare il tempo di asciugatura:

   Premere il pulsante funzione (M) again to enter drying time setting mode. Use the up/down buttons to set the desired drying duration (6–12 hours). The system will automatically return to the main interface if no operation is performed for 5 seconds during time or temperature setting. It will turn off if no operation is performed on the main interface for 3 minutes.

4. Inizio asciugatura:

   Once temperature and time are set, press the function button (M) again to confirm and enter "WORK" mode. The display will show "WORK" indicating the drying process has begun.

Manutenzione

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and effectiveness of your filament dryer.

• Pulizia: Periodically wipe the interior and exterior of the dryer with a dry, soft cloth to remove any dust or filament debris.
• Moisture Venting: During extended drying cycles, especially in high humidity environments, condensation may build up on the inside of the lid. It is recommended to occasionally crack open the lid for a short period to allow this moisture to escape, then close it again to continue drying.
• Magazzinaggio: When not in use, store the filament dryer in a cool, dry place. Ensure no filament is left inside for prolonged periods without active drying.

Troubleshooting Common Printing Issues

Properly dried filament significantly reduces common 3D printing problems. The Comgrow Filament Dryer helps address issues caused by moisture absorption.

• Scarsa adesione: Moisture in filament can lead to prints not sticking to the build plate. Drying improves filament consistency, enhancing first layer adhesion.
• Intasamento: Wet filament can create steam in the hot end, causing blockages. Drying prevents this by removing excess water.
• Stringing/Trasudamento: Excess moisture can make filament more prone to stringing between printed parts. A dry filament results in cleaner prints.
• Layer Delamination: Prints may split or delaminate due to moisture. Drying helps create stronger, more cohesive layers.
