4. Impostazione
4.1. Alimentazione
The TOMASHI F-119 can be powered by two (2) AA batteries or via a USB power supply.
- Installazione della batteria: Open the battery compartment cover on the rear of the unit. Insert two (2) AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment. Close the cover securely.
- Alimentazione USB: Connect the included USB cable to the USB power port on the unit and to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port. If using USB power, it is recommended to remove any installed batteries first to prevent potential issues.
4.2. Inserimento di una cassetta
To insert a cassette tape:
- Gently press the STOP/EJECT button to open the cassette compartment door.
- Insert the cassette tape with the exposed tape facing towards the player's mechanism. Ensure the side you wish to play or record is facing upwards.
- Chiudere saldamente lo sportello del vano cassetta finché non scatta in posizione.

5. Istruzioni per l'uso
5.1. Riproduzione
- Assicurarsi che la cassetta sia inserita correttamente.
- Premere il tasto GIOCARE pulsante per iniziare la riproduzione.
- Regolare il VOL (Volume) knob on the side to your desired listening level.
- Per avanzare velocemente, premere il tasto FWD pulsante. Per riavvolgere, premere il pulsante RIVISTA button. Release the button to stop fast forwarding or rewinding.
- Per interrompere la riproduzione, premere il pulsante FERMARE pulsante.
5.2. registrazione
The unit supports recording from its built-in microphone or an external microphone.
- Inserire una cassetta vuota o registrabile nel vano.
- To record using the built-in microphone, simply press the RICORDA button. The unit will automatically start recording from the internal microphone.
- To record using an external microphone, connect a 3.5mm microphone to the Microfono jack on the side of the unit. Then, press the RICORDA pulsante.

Nota: Ensure the volume is not set too high during recording to avoid distortion. The unit records in mono.
5.3. Utilizzo delle cuffie
For private listening, connect any standard 3.5mm headphones to the ♫ (Headphone) jack on the side of the unit. The built-in speaker will automatically mute when headphones are connected.
5.4. Automatic Stop System
To protect your cassette tapes and prevent unnecessary wear to the pinch roller of the cassette mechanism, this unit is equipped with an Automatic Stop System. When the tape ends during play, the PLAY button will automatically release to stop the cassette from running.
6. Manutenzione
- Pulizia: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. For the tape head and pinch roller, use a cotton swab lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol. Clean these components periodically to ensure optimal sound quality and tape longevity.
