4. Impostazione

4.1 Installazione della batteria

The DURFICST gas detector requires three (3) AAA batteries for operation. These are typically included with the product.

  4. Riposizionare saldamente il coperchio della batteria.

4.2 Accensione iniziale

After installing the batteries, press and hold the Power button to turn on the device. The detector will perform a self-test and automatic calibration in fresh air. Ensure the device is in a clean, gas-free environment during this initial startup for accurate calibration.

5. Istruzioni per l'uso

5.1 Accensione/spegnimento

  • Per accendere: Premere e tenere premuto il tasto Energia button until the screen illuminates. The device will initiate a warm-up and self-calibration sequence.
  • Per spegnere: Premere e tenere premuto il tasto Energia pulsante finché lo schermo non si spegne.

5.2 Processo di rilevamento del gas

Per rilevare perdite di gas:

  1. Ensure the device has completed its startup and calibration in a clean air environment.
  2. Slowly move the flexible probe towards the area where a gas leak is suspected.
  3. Observe the LCD screen for gas concentration readings (PPM or %LEL) and listen for audible alarms.
  4. If the detected gas leak value exceeds 25% LEL (12500 PPM), the detector will emit an audible alarm, and the screen will display "HIGH".
  5. The alarm will cease when the detected value drops below 25% LEL (12500 PPM).

5.3 unità di misura

Premere il tasto PPM/%LEL key to toggle between Parts Per Million (PPM) and Lower Explosive Limit (%LEL) display modes for gas concentration.

5.4 Unità di temperatura

Premere il tasto ° C / ° F key to switch the temperature display between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).

5.5 Calibrazione automatica

The device features automatic calibration upon startup in fresh air. For manual calibration or to clear readings, press the ZERO chiave.

5.6 Automatic Shutdown (APO)

The detector is equipped with an automatic power-off function to conserve battery life. This feature can be activated or deactivated using the APO button. The device will automatically shut down after 10 minutes of inactivity if APO is enabled.

5.7 Gas rilevabili

The DURFICST gas detector can measure a wide range of combustible gases. The screen displays the gas concentration, not the specific gas type.
