4. Impostazione

4.1. Carica della batteria

2. Remove the battery pack from the drill by pressing the release buttons on the sides of the battery and sliding it out.
3. Connect the battery pack to the appropriate Pretul charger (sold separately or included in kit).
4. Plug the charger into a standard electrical outlet. The charger indicator light will show the charging status.

4.2. Installazione/rimozione del pacco batteria

• To install: Align the battery pack with the base of the drill handle and slide it in until it clicks securely into place.
• To remove: Press the battery release buttons on both sides of the battery pack and slide it out.

4.3. Installing Drill Bits or Driver Bits

1. Ensure the drill is switched off and the rotation direction button is in the center (locked) position.
2. Grasp the rear collar of the chuck with one hand and rotate the front collar counter-clockwise until the chuck jaws are open wide enough to insert the bit.
3. Insert the desired drill bit or driver bit into the chuck. Ensure the bit is centered and fully seated.
4. Rotate the front collar clockwise to tighten the chuck jaws firmly around the bit. Hand-tighten only; do not use a wrench.
5. To remove a bit, reverse the tightening process.

5.1. Selezione della velocità

The drill has two mechanical speed settings, selected via the speed selector switch located on top of the drill:

• Posizione 1 (bassa velocità): Fornisce una coppia più elevata per avvitare viti e praticare fori più grandi. (0-500 giri/min)
• Posizione 2 (Alta velocità): Provides higher speed for faster drilling of smaller holes. (0-1500 RPM)

Always select the appropriate speed before starting the drill. Do not change speeds while the drill is running.

5.2. Regolazione della coppia

The torque selector ring, located behind the chuck, allows you to adjust the clutch setting. This is crucial for driving screws to prevent over-tightening, stripping screw heads, or damaging the workpiece. It has 21 settings plus a drill mode:

• Impostazioni 1-21: Lower numbers provide less torque, suitable for smaller screws or softer materials. Higher numbers provide more torque for larger screws or harder materials.

Start with a lower torque setting and increase it as needed until the desired screw depth is achieved without over-driving.

5.3. Forward/Reverse Rotation and Trigger Lock

The rotation direction button, located above the trigger, controls the direction of rotation and locks the trigger:

• Posizione sinistra: Forward rotation (clockwise) for drilling and driving screws.
• Posizione corretta: Reverse rotation (counter-clockwise) for removing screws or freeing jammed bits.
• Center Position: Locks the trigger, preventing accidental startup. Always engage the trigger lock when not in use or when changing bits.

1. Ensure the bit is securely installed and the battery is charged.

5. Press the trigger switch to start the drill. The variable speed trigger allows you to control the speed by applying more or less pressure. The LED light will illuminate the work area.

6. Manutenzione
