1. Introduzione

The Hyzom Wi-Fi Repeater is designed to extend the coverage of your existing wireless network. It eliminates Wi-Fi dead zones and improves signal strength, allowing for a more stable and reliable internet connection throughout your home or office. This device supports both Repeater and Access Point (AP) modes, offering flexibility for various networking needs.

3. Impostazione

The Hyzom Wi-Fi Repeater offers two primary setup methods: WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) and Web Browser Configuration.

3.1. Installazione fisica

3.2. Configuration via WPS (Recommended for quick setup)

WPS allows for a quick and easy connection without needing to enter network passwords.

1. Accensione: Plug the Wi-Fi Repeater into an electrical outlet.
2. Premere WPS sul ripetitore: Press the WPS button on the side of the Hyzom Wi-Fi Repeater. The WPS LED indicator should start blinking.

1. Connect to Repeater's Network: Plug in the repeater. On your computer or mobile device, connect to the repeater's default Wi-Fi network (e.g., "Hyzom_Extender" or similar, usually found on a label on the device). No password is required initially.

3. Login: Enter the default username and password (usually "admin" for both, or as specified on the device label).

4. Funzionamento

Once configured, the Hyzom Wi-Fi Repeater operates automatically to provide extended wireless coverage.

4.1. Indicatori LED

The LEDs on the front panel provide information about the device's status:

The repeater is designed to provide up to 7000 square feet of extended Wi-Fi coverage. Its four external high-gain antennas help to achieve 360-degree full signal coverage, reducing signal loss when passing through walls and focusing signal strength towards your devices.

4.3. Connessione cablata

The repeater includes a WAN/LAN Ethernet port that supports both network output and input. This allows for a faster and more stable wired connection for devices like smart TVs, gaming consoles, or desktop computers, reducing wireless interference.

5. Manutenzione

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Wi-Fi Repeater.

• Pulizia: Utilizzare un panno morbido e asciutto per pulire l'esterno del dispositivo. Non utilizzare detergenti liquidi o spray.
• Posizionamento ottimale: Periodically check the signal strength LEDs. If the signal is weak, consider repositioning the repeater closer to your main router or in a more open area.
• Aggiornamenti del firmware: Controllare il produttore website periodically for firmware updates. Updating the firmware can improve performance, add new features, and fix bugs. Follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer for any updates.
• Riavvio: Se riscontri problemi di rete, prova a riavviare il ripetitore scollegandolo dalla presa di corrente per 10 secondi e poi ricollegandolo.

If problems persist, consider performing a factory reset on the repeater by pressing and holding the reset button (usually a small pinhole) for 5-10 seconds while the device is powered on. This will revert all settings to their default values.
