1. Introduzione

The YouPro MC-292 DC0 is a versatile wireless shutter remote control system designed for various Nikon camera models, as well as Fujifilm S5 PRO, S3 PRO, and Kodak DCS-14N. This system operates on a 2.4 GHz FSK wireless channel, providing reliable communication up to 100 meters. It functions as both a wireless and wired timer, offering multiple shooting modes including single shot, slow continuous, fast continuous, BULB, time-lapse, and timed plan shooting.

The remote features an LCD screen for clear display of channel information, and with 32 available channels, it helps prevent signal interference. Its compact and lightweight design ensures portability and ease of use for extended photography sessions.

2. Impostazione

2.1 Contenuto della confezione

2.2 Installazione della batteria

Both the transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) require 2x AAA batteries each. Ensure correct polarity when inserting batteries.

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of both the transmitter and receiver.

  3. Insert 2x AAA batteries into each unit, matching the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals as indicated inside the compartment.

2.3 Collegamento del ricevitore alla fotocamera

Use the appropriate shutter connection cable for your camera model.

2.4 Impostazione dei canali

The MC-292 DC0 offers 32 channels to prevent interference. Ensure both the transmitter and receiver are set to the same channel.

After successful setup, you can use the remote for basic shutter control.

  • BULB Mode: For long exposures, set your camera to BULB mode. Press the shutter button on the remote once to open the shutter, and press it again to close it.

The MC-292 DC0 offers advanced timer functions for various photography techniques.

3.3 Funzionamento cablato

The transmitter can also be used as a wired remote control by connecting it directly to the camera using the shutter connection cable. This is useful when wireless functionality is not required or to conserve battery life in the receiver.

4. Manutenzione

4.1 Sostituzione della batteria

Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the LCD screen or when the units fail to power on. Refer to section 2.2 for battery installation instructions.

  • Transmitter (TX) battery life: Approximately 1000 hours standby.
  • Receiver (RX) battery life: Approximately 300 hours standby.

    • If experiencing erratic behavior, try changing the channel on both the transmitter and receiver to an unused channel.
    • Avoid operating near other 2.4 GHz wireless devices if possible.
  • Gamma limitata:
    • Ensure there are no major obstructions (e.g., thick walls, large metal objects) between the transmitter and receiver.
