3. Istruzioni per l'installazione

The AERVY WiFi Extender can be set up using two primary methods: WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) or via a web browser.

3.1 WPS Setup (Recommended for compatible routers)

1. Accensione: Plug the AERVY WiFi Extender into an electrical outlet near your main router. Wait for the power indicator light to become stable.

3.2 Web Impostazione del browser

4.1 Modalità ripetitore

In Repeater Mode, the extender wirelessly connects to your existing router and rebroadcasts the signal, expanding your Wi-Fi coverage. Devices connect to the extender's network (either the same SSID or a new one you created during setup).

4.2 Modalità punto di accesso (AP)

In AP Mode, the extender connects to your router via an Ethernet cable and creates a new wireless network. This is useful for adding Wi-Fi capability to a wired network or creating a separate Wi-Fi network in a specific area.

1. Connetti Ethernet: Plug one end of the Ethernet cable into the extender's Ethernet port and the other end into a LAN port on your main router.
2. Configura tramite Web Navigatore: Follow steps 2-4 from the "Web Browser Setup" section (3.2).
3. Seleziona modalità AP: During setup, choose "AP Mode" instead of "Repeater Mode."
4. Configure SSID and Password: Set a new Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password for the access point.

4.3 Posizionamento ottimale

Per prestazioni ottimali, posiziona l'extender a metà strada tra il router e l'area in cui desideri migliorare la copertura Wi-Fi. Evita di posizionarlo vicino a grandi oggetti metallici, pareti di cemento o altri dispositivi elettronici che potrebbero causare interferenze.
