Choose a dry, well-ventilated area for installation, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and flammable materials. Ensure adequate clearance around the inverter for proper airflow.

4.3 Battery Type Selection and Charging Current

The inverter supports various battery types. Select the appropriate type via the control panel. The charging current can be adjusted from 0-35A. Setting it to 0A will disable the charging function.

4.4 Accensione iniziale

5. Modalità operative

The OAE FT-5000W48V inverter offers five distinct operating modes to optimize power management:

  1. AC/Line Priority Mode: In this mode, the inverter prioritizes AC utility power as the primary input. It provides AC output to the load and automatically charges the battery bank. If AC utility power is lost, the inverter seamlessly switches to battery power.
  2. Modalità priorità batteria: This mode prioritizes power supply from the battery bank. The inverter will draw power from the batteries to supply the AC output. If the battery voltage drops below a set low voltage protection threshold, the system will transfer to AC utility power (if available). Once the battery is sufficiently recharged, it will switch back to battery power. This mode includes low voltage restore and low voltage protect settings.
  3. Modalità ecologica: Designed for energy saving, the inverter will automatically enter a sleep state and stop output if the load is less than 10% of its capacity. When the load exceeds 10%, it will automatically boot back to normal inversion. This mode helps conserve battery power during periods of low demand.
  4. Generator Mode: When an unstable generator (e.g., 240V) is connected to the inverter's AC input, this mode utilizes the inverter's AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulation) to stabilize the input. It automatically matches the 60Hz municipal frequency and regulates the output voltage within the normal operating range, providing stable power to the load and charging the batteries.
  5. Modalità non presidiata: Similar to Battery Priority Mode, when the battery voltage is low, the inverter enters a standby (power-saving) state. It will automatically restore normal inverter output once the battery voltage recovers to a user-defined value (e.g., after solar charging), enabling fully automatic, unattended operation. This mode also includes low voltage restore and low voltage protect settings.
