2. Impostazione

2.1 Cosa c'è nella scatola

2.2 Installazione della batteria

The timer requires 2 AA 1.5V Alkaline batteries (not included). Ensure correct polarity when inserting batteries.

1. Individuare il vano batterie sul retro del timer.
2. Far scorrere il coperchio della batteria aperto.
3. Insert two AA alkaline batteries, observing the + and - markings.
4. Close the battery cover securely. The cover includes a seal ring to protect against moisture.

2.3 Installazione del timer

The timer features a brass inlet and outlet for enhanced durability and pressure resistance.

1. Assicurarsi che il rubinetto sia chiuso.
2. Screw the timer's brass inlet onto your outdoor faucet. Hand-tighten only. Use the provided thread seal tape if necessary to prevent leaks.
3. Connect your garden hose or drip irrigation system to the timer's brass outlet. Hand-tighten only.
4. If your hose or faucet requires a different size, use the included reducing hex bushing.
5. Aprire lentamente il rubinetto. Controllare eventuali perdite.

3. Funzionamento

3.1 Comprensione del pannello di controllo

The timer features a large LCD display and intuitive controls:

• Comporre: Rotate to select different settings (SET CLOCK, START TIME, HOW LONG, HOW OFTEN, AUTO, OFF).
• +/- Pulsanti: Adjust values for time, duration, or frequency. The '+' button also activates Rain Delay. The '-' button also activates Child Lock.
• Pulsante OK: Conferma le selezioni.
• Pulsante manuale: Avviare l'irrigazione manuale.

3.2 Impostazione dell'orologio

1. Ruota la manopola su IMPOSTA OROLOGIO.
2. Utilizzare il +/- pulsanti per regolare l'ora corrente.
3. Premere OK to confirm and move to the next setting (e.g., minutes).
4. Repeat until the clock is set.

3.3 Modalità di irrigazione automatica

Questa modalità consente di impostare un programma di irrigazione ricorrente.

1. Ruota la manopola su ORA DI INIZIO. Utilizzo +/- per impostare l'ora di inizio desiderata per l'irrigazione. Premere OK.
2. Ruota la manopola su PER QUANTO. Utilizzo +/- to set the watering duration (1 minute to 23 hours 59 minutes). Press OK.
3. Ruota la manopola su QUANTE VOLTE. Utilizzo +/- to set the watering frequency (every 1 minute to 23 hours 59 minutes, or every 1 to 7 days). Press OK.
4. Ruota la manopola su AUTOIl timer funzionerà ora secondo la programmazione effettuata.

3.4 Modalità di irrigazione manuale

To water immediately without interrupting your programmed schedule:

1. Premere il tasto Manuale pulsante.
2. Utilizzare il +/- buttons to set the desired manual watering duration (1 minute to 23 hours 59 minutes).
3. Premere OK per avviare l'irrigazione manuale.
4. Per interrompere l'irrigazione manuale, premere il tasto Manuale button again or rotate the dial to SPENTO.

3.5 Funzione di ritardo pioggia

Pause your watering schedule for 1 to 7 days due to rain or other reasons.

1. Mentre in AUTO modalità, premere il tasto + button (Rain Delay).
2. Utilizzare il +/- buttons to select the number of days for the delay (1-7 days).
3. Premere OK to confirm. The timer will pause and automatically resume the schedule after the delay period.
4. To cancel Rain Delay, press the + button again and set the delay to 0, or rotate the dial to SPENTO e poi torna a AUTO.

3.6 Child Lock Mode

Prevent accidental operation by children or pets.

1. Premere e tenere premuto il tasto - button for 3 seconds to activate Child Lock. A lock icon will appear on the display.
2. Per disattivare, tenere premuto il tasto - nuovamente il pulsante per 3 secondi.

4. Manutenzione

4.1 Pulizia del filtro

The built-in metal filter prevents sediment from entering your irrigation system. Clean it periodically to ensure optimal performance.

1. Turn off the faucet and detach the timer.
2. Remove the filter washer from the inlet.
3. Sciacquare il filtro sotto l'acqua corrente per rimuovere eventuali detriti.
4. Reinsert the clean filter washer and reattach the timer to the faucet.

4.2 Rimessaggio invernale

To prevent damage from freezing temperatures:

1. Remove the timer from the faucet before the first frost.
2. Rimuovere le batterie.
3. Store the timer in a dry, frost-free location.
