5. Configurazione e installazione

Proper wiring is crucial for the correct function and safety of the BMS and battery pack. Follow these steps carefully.

  1. Step 1: Soldering Wires
    Connect the first wire (black wire) to the total negative terminal of the battery (B-). Connect the second wire (red wire) to the first series battery positive terminal. Continue connecting subsequent red wires to each successive series battery positive terminal until all balance wires are connected.
  2. Step 2: Test the Wires
    After connecting the balance wires, measure the voltage between two adjacent wires from the header. Ensure that the voltage readings are consistent with individual cell voltages, confirming that the wires are not connected in the wrong order.
  3. Step 3: Connect Output Wires and Activate
    Connect the B- wire of the protection board to the total negative terminal of the battery. Then, plug the sampling row wires (balance wires) into the protection board. After activating the protection board, confirm that the voltage before the board (battery voltage B+ to B-) and the voltage after the board (P+ to P-) are the same.

Nota: The NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) thermistor is integrated into G series models. Ensure it is positioned correctly to monitor battery temperature.

6. Istruzioni per l'uso

Once properly installed, the DALY BMS operates automatically to manage and protect your battery pack.

  • Ricarica: Connect your compatible battery charger to the P+ and P- terminals (or designated charge terminals if separate). The BMS will monitor cell voltages and temperatures, initiating passive balancing as needed and terminating charging if overvoltage or overcurrent conditions are detected.
  • Scaricamento: Connect your load to the P+ and P- terminals. The BMS will monitor discharge current, cell voltages, and temperature, disconnecting the load if overcurrent, undervoltage, or over-temperature conditions occur.
  • Bilanciamento: The BMS features passive equalization to help maintain cell voltage consistency during charging. This function activates when cells reach a certain voltage soglia.
