2. Impostazione

2.1. Linee guida per l'installazione

Before installation, ensure your door meets the compatibility requirements (door thickness 35-60mm). It is crucial to measure your existing mortise lock to select the correct size for replacement.

1. Prepara la porta: Remove your old lock. Ensure the door frame and door edge are clean and free of debris.

5. Inserire le batterie: Open the battery compartment on the rear panel and insert four AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity.

2.2. App Pairing and WiFi Connection

To utilize the smart features, download the dedicated mobile application (refer to the QR code in the included manual or search in your app store). The lock connects via 2.4G WiFi.

Your Splenssy Smart Lock offers five convenient ways to unlock your door:

• Sblocco delle impronte digitali: Place your registered finger on the fingerprint sensor. The lock will unlock upon successful recognition. The lock supports up to 100 fingerprints.

• Inserimento password: Enter your registered password on the touchscreen keypad, then press '#' or the confirmation key.
• Scheda IC: Present your registered IC card to the card reader area on the lock.
• Chiave meccanica: In case of emergency or battery depletion, use the provided mechanical key to unlock the door manually.

3.2. Accesso remoto e monitoraggio

• Smart Doorbell: When a visitor presses the doorbell button on the lock, the camera captures a photo, and a notification is sent to your smartphone app.

4. Manutenzione

4.1. Sostituzione della batteria

The lock is powered by four AA batteries. When the battery level is low, the lock will provide a low battery warning. Replace all four batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation.

• Open the battery compartment cover on the interior panel.
• Rimuovere le vecchie batterie e smaltirle in modo responsabile.
• Inserire nuove batterie AA, assicurandosi della corretta polarità (+/-).

4.2. Alimentazione di emergenza

In the event of complete battery depletion, the lock can be temporarily powered via a USB emergency power source (e.g., a power bank). Connect a USB cable to the emergency power port on the exterior panel to provide temporary power for unlocking.

4.3. Pulizia

Clean the lock's exterior surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish and electronic components. Keep the fingerprint sensor and camera lens clean for optimal performance.

• Lock is unresponsive: Check battery levels and replace if necessary. Use the USB emergency power or mechanical key if batteries are completely drained.
• Impronta digitale non riconosciuta: Ensure your finger is clean and dry. Try re-registering your fingerprint in the app. Ensure the sensor is clean.
• Password non funzionante: Verify the correct password is being entered. Ensure the keypad is clean and responsive.
• Problemi di connessione all'app: Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. Restart the lock and your router. Re-pair the lock with the app if necessary.
• Doorbell notification not received: Check app notification settings on your smartphone. Ensure the lock has a stable WiFi connection.
