Modalità di allarme

The system is equipped with six distinct alarm modes to alert you to potential tire issues:

  • Allarme alta pressione: Alerts when tire pressure exceeds a preset maximum.
  • Allarme di bassa pressione: Alerts when tire pressure drops below a preset minimum.
  • Rapid Air Loss Alarm: Alerts for sudden and significant pressure drops.
  • Allarme alta temperatura: Alerts when tire temperature exceeds a safe limit.
  • Allarme batteria sensore scarica: Indica che è necessario sostituire la batteria di un sensore.
  • Lost Sensor Signal Alarm: Avvisa se la comunicazione con un sensore viene interrotta.

Manutenzione

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and accuracy of your Tymate TM8 TPMS.

Sostituzione della batteria del sensore

When the low sensor battery alarm is triggered, replace the battery in the affected sensor. The sensors use CR1632 Lithium batteries.

  1. Using the provided tools, screw the sensor cover counter-clockwise to open it.
  2. Rimuovere con attenzione la vecchia batteria.
  3. Fix in the new CR1632 Lithium battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
  4. Examine if the sealing rubber (O-ring) is in good condition. If damaged, replace it with a new one from the provided accessories.
  5. Clockwise screw back the sensor cover with the provided tools, ensuring it is tightly sealed.

Refer to Video 1 in the Setup section for a visual demonstration of sensor battery replacement.

Risoluzione dei problemi

If you encounter issues with your Tymate TM8 TPMS, refer to the common problems and solutions below:

ProblemaSoluzione
Data displayed intermittentlyMove the display away from any potential interference sources. If the problem persists, consider equipping a signal repeater (note: TM8 system is not compatible with Tymate Repeater, this solution applies to other compatible systems).
Tire blowout/puncture occursTPMS cannot prevent punctures caused by sharp objects or damaged tires, nor can it monitor instantaneous changes. Regular tire inspection is still recommended.
Letture della pressione impreciseEnsure sensors are tightly installed and correctly paired. The system automatically calibrates to the center tire pressure using sensor pairing for precise reference values. If issues persist, re-pair the sensors following the manual's instructions.
Display unit not charging via solarEnsure the solar panel is clean and exposed to direct sunlight. If solar charging is insufficient, use the USB charging cable.
Lost sensor signalCheck if the sensor battery is low and replace if necessary. Ensure the vehicle length is less than 20ft, as the TM8 system is designed for this range. Re-pair the sensor if needed.
