Pawfly AF-2850 Automatic Fish Feeder Instruction Manual

3. Guida all'installazione

3.1. Installazione della batteria

  1. Push the battery cover in the direction of the arrow to open it.
  2. Pull the tab upwards to fully open the battery compartment.

3.2. Riempimento del contenitore per alimenti

  1. Detach the food container from the main unit by gently pulling it apart.
  2. Uncover the transparent lid of the food container.
  3. Fill the container with dry fish food (pellets, granules, or strips under 3mm diameter). Do not overfill.
  4. Securely close the transparent lid and reattach the food container to the main unit.

NOTE: Use food with a diameter under 3 mm only. Not suitable for flakes or wet food.

3.3. Metodi di installazione

  1. Mount on Tank Wall with Fixation Clamp:

    Attach the fixation clamp to the feeder. Place the feeder on the edge of the aquarium tank wall and tighten the screw until it is securely fixed. Ensure the feeder is stable and the food outlet is positioned over the water.

  2. Attach to Tank Lid with Hook-and-Loop Tape:

    Clean the desired area on your aquarium lid. Apply one side of the hook-and-loop tape to the bottom of the feeder and the other side to the tank lid. Press firmly to secure. Ensure the food outlet is positioned correctly.

NOTE: Not suitable for rimmed aquariums. Not fit for tank walls over 0.9" (2.3 cm) thick.

4. Funzionamento

4.1. Setting the Automatic Feeding Schedule

The feeder can be set to dispense food every 12 hours or every 24 hours.

  1. Locate the "12h" and "24h" switch on the top of the feeder.
  2. Slide the switch to your desired feeding interval:
    • 12 ora: Feeds twice a day, every 12 hours.
    • 24 ora: Feeds once a day, every 24 hours.
  3. The timer begins counting from the moment batteries are installed or after the last manual feeding.

4.2. Alimentazione manuale

To dispense food manually at any time, or to test the feeding amount:

  • Press the manual feeding button (often a small button near the timer switch).

The feeder allows you to adjust the food outlet size to control the amount of food dispensed per feeding. There are 6 available gears.

  1. Locate the slider on the food container.
  2. Move the slider left or right to adjust the size of the food outlet.
  3. Use the manual feeding button to test the amount dispensed and find the most suitable setting for your fish.

5. Manutenzione

  • Pulizia del contenitore per alimenti: The food container is detachable for easy cleaning. Remove it from the main unit, wash with mild soap and water, rinse thoroughly, and ensure it is completely dry before refilling and reattaching.
