2. Montaggio del dispositivo

The device can be mounted on the dashboard or windshield using the provided suction cup mount. Ensure the mounting surface is clean and dry for optimal adhesion.

1. Attach the display unit to the suction cup mount by aligning the holes and pushing upwards until it clicks into place.

Istruzioni per l'uso

1. Configurazione iniziale e selezione della lingua

Upon first power-on, the device will display the ESSGOO logo. Navigate to the settings menu to select your preferred language.

1. Tap the "Settings" icon on the main screen.
2. Select "Language" and choose your desired language (e.g., English, Spanish).

2. Connessione CarPlay wireless (per iPhone)

Connect your iPhone wirelessly to access Apple CarPlay features.

1. On the ESSGOO display, tap the "CarPlay" icon. Confirm the mode change.
2. Sul tuo iPhone, vai su Impostazioni > Bluetooth e abilita il Bluetooth.
3. Connect to the device named "ESSGOO-XXXXXX" (where XXXXXX is a unique identifier). Confirm the pairing request on your iPhone.
4. Allow approximately 20 seconds for the connection to establish. CarPlay will then launch automatically.

3. Connessione wireless Android Auto (per telefoni Android)

Connect your Android phone wirelessly to access Android Auto features.

1. On the ESSGOO display, tap the "Android Auto" icon. Confirm the mode change.
2. Sul tuo telefono Android, vai a Impostazioni > Bluetooth e abilita il Bluetooth.
3. Connect to the device named "ESSGOO-XXXXXX". Allow the connection and confirm any pairing requests.
4. After 10-20 seconds, Android Auto will launch on the display.

4. Controllo vocale (Siri e Google Assistant)

After connecting your phone, you can use voice commands for hands-free operation.

• Activate Siri (for iPhone) or Google Assistant (for Android) by saying "Hey Siri" or "Hey Google" or by tapping the voice assistant icon on the screen.
• Use commands for navigation, making calls, sending messages, or playing music.

The ESSGOO display offers multiple ways to output audio to your vehicle's sound system:

• Bluetooth 5.3: Connect directly to your car's Bluetooth for high-fidelity audio.

6. Mirror Link (AirPlay for iPhone / Super Link for Android)

Mirror your smartphone screen to the ESSGOO display for content viewing.

Per iPhone (AirPlay):

1. Tap the "AirPlay" icon on the display.

2. Download and install the "EveLink" application on your Android phone.

4. Open the EveLink app and follow the on-screen instructions to initiate screen mirroring.

Manutenzione

Risoluzione dei problemi

1. CarPlay/Android Auto Keeps Restarting or Disconnecting

• Turn off Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your phone, then restart both the phone and the device to reconnect.
• Ensure the power adapter is firmly plugged into both the device and the car's cigarette lighter.
• Verify that your car's power system provides a stable 12V power supply.
• Use only the original charging/data cable to avoid compatibility issues.

2. CarPlay/Android Auto Disconnects After Connecting, or the Screen Responds Slowly/Lags

• For iPhone: In Impostazioni > Generali, check if CarPlay is enabled.
• If still not working: Go to your phone's settings, ignore the current CarPlay Screen Bluetooth connection, then turn off and restart your phone's Bluetooth.
• Alternatively, for iPhone: Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset Network Settings. After reboot, try reconnecting.
• If the above methods do not resolve the issue, please contact customer support with a photo of the device's version number.

3. AUX Connection Causes Noise

If the AUX connection produces abnormal noise, you may need to use a Ground Loop Noise Isolator (not included) to eliminate interference.

4. FM Connection Noise

The quality of FM audio depends on the radio receiver and signal strength. If your car radio has poor performance or the FM signal is weak, it may result in noticeable noise or interference. In such cases, using the FM connection is not recommended; consider using Bluetooth or AUX instead.

5. Mirror Link Frequently Disconnects or Automatically Switches to CarPlay

When using Mirror Link (AirPlay/Super Link), ensure your phone's Bluetooth is turned SPENTO to prevent automatic switching to CarPlay/Android Auto, which prioritizes Bluetooth connections.

6. Inaccurate Touch on the Screen

The device allows you to adjust and calibrate the touch position for accuracy. Navigate to Settings > Basic Setup > Touch Calibration to perform calibration.
