1. Attaching the Shock Mount and Stand

The HyperX QuadCast 2 comes with a pre-attached removable shock mount. This mount helps to isolate the microphone and dampen the sound of unintentional rumbles and bumps. If you need to remove or reattach it, gently twist the microphone counter-clockwise to detach it from the mount. Ensure it is securely fastened when reattaching.

3. Selecting Polar Patterns

The QuadCast 2 offers four selectable polar patterns to optimize your audio capture for different scenarios:

• Cardioide: Ideal for podcasts, streaming, voiceovers, and instruments. Captures sound directly in front of the microphone.
• omnidirezionale: Best for multi-person podcasts and conference calls. Captures sound equally from all directions.
• Bidirezionale: Suitable for face-to-face interviews. Captures sound from the front and rear of the microphone.
• Stereo: Perfect for vocals, instruments, and ASMR. Captures a wide, immersive soundstage.

To change the polar pattern, press and hold the multifunction knob until the pattern changes. The LED indicators will show the currently selected pattern.
