1. Introduzione

The MeLE Mini PC Quieter 4C is a compact, fanless computer designed for various applications including office work, education, and astrophotography. It features a 12th Gen Intel Alder Lake-N100 processor, 16GB RAM, and a 512GB M.2 SSD, running on Windows 11 Pro. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your device.

3. Istruzioni per l'installazione

3.1 Collegamento delle periferiche

1. Collegamento elettrico: Connect the included 12V/2A power adapter to the DC-in port (12V/2A) on the Mini PC.
2. Connessione display: Connect your monitor(s) to the HDMI 2.0 ports or the full-function USB-C port. The device supports up to three 4K displays simultaneously.
3. Dispositivi USB: Connect your keyboard, mouse, and other USB devices to the available USB 3.2 (5Gbps/10Gbps) and USB 2.0 ports.
4. Audio: For external audio, connect speakers or headphones to the 3.5mm audio jack.
5. Rete: For a wired connection, connect an Ethernet cable to the Gigabit Ethernet port. For wireless, ensure your Wi-Fi network is available.

3.2 Accensione iniziale

After connecting all necessary peripherals, press the power button located on the device. The system will boot into Windows 11 Pro. Follow the on-screen instructions for initial Windows setup.

3.3 Montaggio VESA

The Quieter 4C includes a VESA mount for discreet installation behind a monitor or TV. Attach the VESA mount to the back of your display using the provided screws, then slide the Mini PC onto the mount.

4. Istruzioni per l'uso

4.1 Funzionamento di base

4.2 Configurazione multi-monitor

The Quieter 4C supports up to three 4K displays at 60Hz via its two HDMI 2.0 ports and one full-function USB-C port. Connect your monitors and configure display settings within Windows 11 (Right-click desktop > Display settings) to extend or duplicate your desktop.

4.3 Espansione dello storage

The Mini PC comes with a 512GB M.2 SSD. Additional storage can be added via:

• Slot per scheda microSD: Supporta fino a 2 TB.
• Internal M.2 2280 SSD Slot: Supports NVMe SSDs up to 4TB or SATA M.2 SSDs up to 2TB. (Does not support 2.5" HDDs).

4.4 Connettività wireless

The Quieter 4C features Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) for dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz connections, and Bluetooth 5.1 for connecting wireless peripherals. Ensure your Wi-Fi network is configured in Windows settings for internet access.

5. Manutenzione

The MeLE Quieter 4C is a fanless design, which reduces dust accumulation and noise. However, regular maintenance is still recommended:

• Pulizia: Periodically wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. Ensure ventilation areas are clear.
• Aggiornamenti software: Keep your Windows 11 Pro operating system and drivers updated to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Gestione del calore: While fanless, the device can become warm during heavy use. Ensure it is placed in a well-ventilated area and not obstructed. The thermal design is engineered for efficient heat dissipation.

6. Risoluzione Dei Problemi

• Nessun potere: Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the Mini PC and a working power outlet. Verify the power adapter is the correct 12V/2A unit.
• Nessuna visualizzazione: Check all HDMI and USB-C display cables. Ensure the monitor is powered on and set to the correct input source. Try connecting to a different display or using a different cable.
• Ethernet non funzionante: If the Ethernet port is not recognized or functioning, it may be disabled in the BIOS. To enable it:
  1. Restart the Mini PC and repeatedly press the ELIMINARE key during startup to enter the BIOS.
  2. Vai a Stivale scheda.
  3. Individuare e Abilitare the setting for "Network Stack Driver Support".
  4. Vai al Salva ed esci tab and select "Save and Exit".
• Rallentamento/surriscaldamento del sistema: While designed for efficient heat dissipation, prolonged heavy loads in poorly ventilated environments can cause warmth. Ensure adequate airflow around the device.
• Periferica non riconosciuta: Prova a collegare la periferica a una porta USB diversa. Assicurati che i driver siano installati, se richiesti dalla periferica.
