3. Guida all'installazione
The CIARRA CBCB6921 range hood can be installed as either an external evacuation (ducted) system or an internal recirculation (ductless) system.
3.1 Opzioni di montaggio
This range hood supports both wall-mounted installation above the hob or under-cabinet mounting. Ensure the mounting surface is strong enough to support the weight of the hood.

3.2 Ducting Modes

- External Evacuation Mode: Air is extracted and vented outside through a ducting system. A suitable ducting pipe (not always included) is required.
- Modalità di ricircolo: Air is filtered through the included CBCF011 charcoal filter to remove odors and then recirculated back into the kitchen. This mode is ideal when external venting is not possible.

3.3 General Installation Steps (Refer to full manual for details)
- Measure and mark the drilling points on the wall or under the cabinet according to the provided template.

Press the power symbol on the touch panel to turn the hood on or off.

The hood offers 3 ventilation speeds to suit different cooking needs. Press the '1', '2', or '3' buttons on the touch panel to select the desired speed.

5. Manutenzione
Una manutenzione regolare garantisce prestazioni ottimali e prolunga la durata della cappa.
5.1 Pulizia dei filtri antigrasso
The aluminum grease filters should be cleaned regularly (approximately every 2-4 weeks, depending on usage) to maintain effective grease capture and airflow.

- Ensure the hood is switched off and disconnected from the power supply.
- Remove the grease filters by pushing the latch and pulling them down.
- Lavare i filtri a mano in acqua calda e sapone o in lavastoviglie. Evitare l'uso di detergenti abrasivi.
- Risciacquare abbondantemente e lasciare asciugare completamente prima di reinstallare.
5.2 Replacing the Charcoal Filter (Recirculation Mode Only)
If using the hood in recirculation mode, the CBCF011 charcoal filter needs to be replaced every 3-6 months, depending on usage, as it cannot be washed.
- Ensure the hood is switched off and disconnected from the power supply.
- Remove the grease filters as described above.

- Install new CBCF011 charcoal filter(s) by aligning and securing them in place.
