3. Impostazione

3.1. Installazione del sensore esterno

The outdoor sensor is designed for easy installation and provides accurate data. Ensure the sensor is placed in an open area, away from obstructions like buildings, trees, or high voltage lines, to ensure reliable data transmission.

The outdoor sensor requires 3 AA batteries (not included). Use the provided screwdriver to open the battery compartment, insert the batteries, and securely close the compartment. The rubber gasket ensures water resistance.

When installing the outdoor sensor, ensure the 'S' sign on the unit is aimed correctly:

• If located in the northern hemisphere, aim the 'S' sign at the South.
• If located in the southern hemisphere, aim the 'S' sign at the North.

3.2. Configurazione della console di visualizzazione

Connect the provided power adapter to the display console and plug it into a power outlet. For backup power during outages, you can install 3 AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment on the back of the console.

3.3. Pairing Outdoor Sensor with Display Console

To establish communication between the outdoor sensor and the display console:

2. On the outdoor sensor, locate the RESET button (usually near the battery compartment) and press it. An LED light on the sensor will blink.
3. The console and sensor will begin pairing. Once successfully paired, the search icon on the display will stop flashing, and weather data will appear.

The 6.5-inch HD color LCD provides a clear, at-a-glance view of all critical weather metrics. The display is organized into several sections:

4.2. Funzioni dei pulsanti

The control buttons are located at the bottom of the display console:

• IMPOSTATO: Press to switch displayed time (year, month, day, second, week). Long press to enter Set Mode.
• TEMPERATURA: Press to switch between dew point, feels like, and temperature. Long press to pair indoor and outdoor units.
• PIOVERE: Press to switch rainfall display (1h, 24h, week, month, total). In Set Mode, press to increase value. Long press to clear rainfall data.
• WIND / +: In Set Mode, press to increase value.
• PRESSURE / -: Press to switch to display pressure (relative/absolute). In Set Mode, press to reduce value.
• ALLARME: In Calibration Mode, press to reset. Press to view high & low alert values. Long press to set alarm information.
• MASSIMO/MIN: In Calibration Mode, press to view high & low alert values. Press to view max & min values. Long press to enter Calibration Mode.
• LUCE/SNOOZE: Press to switch backlight level. Long press to enter Snooze Mode. In other modes, press to exit.

4.3. Impostazione di ora e data

To set the time and date, long press the IMPOSTATO button to enter Set Mode. Use the PIOVERE E PRESSIONE buttons to adjust values, and the IMPOSTATO button to confirm and move to the next setting. You can set the 12/24 hour format, hour, minute, date format (month/day or day/month), month, day, and year.

4.4. Changing Units of Measurement

In Set Mode, you can also change the units for various measurements:

4.5. Snooze Mode and Backlight

Premere il tasto LUCE/SNOOZE button to cycle through different backlight brightness levels. Long press the LUCE/SNOOZE button to activate or deactivate Snooze Mode, which turns off the backlight after a short period.

4.6. Allarmi e avvisi

The weather station supports customizable alerts for various weather conditions. Long press the ALLARME button to enter alarm setting mode. You can set high and low alerts for temperature, humidity, and pressure. When an alert condition is met, the display will flash and an audible alarm will sound.

4.7. Max/Min Values

Premere il tasto Massimo/minimo pulsante per view the recorded maximum and minimum values for temperature, humidity, and other metrics. To clear these records, long press the PIOVERE pulsante mentre viewing the respective data.

5. Manutenzione

5.1. Pulizia del raccoglitore di pioggia

Regularly check and clean the rain collector funnel to prevent debris (leaves, insects) from obstructing the measurement mechanism. This ensures accurate rainfall readings.

• Sensore esterno: Replace the 3 AA batteries approximately every 12 months, or when the low battery indicator appears on the display console.

• Ensure the power adapter is securely plugged into both the console and a working power outlet.

6.2. Outdoor Sensor Not Transmitting Data
