3. Configurazione e installazione

3.1. Installazione del pannello di controllo

1. Collegamento elettrico: Connect the control panel to a power outlet using the provided power adapter. The panel includes a backup lithium-ion battery.

3.2. App Integration (Smart Life / Tuya Smart)

1. Scarica l'app: Scarica l'app "Smart Life" o "Tuya Smart" dall'app store del tuo dispositivo mobile.
2. Creazione dell'account: Registrati per un nuovo account o accedi se ne hai già uno.
3. Aggiungi dispositivo: In the app, tap "+" to add a new device. Select "Security & Video Surveillance" then "Alarm (Wi-Fi)".
4. Connettiti al Wi-Fi: Follow the in-app instructions to connect the control panel to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. (5GHz Wi-Fi is not supported).

3.3. Installazione e associazione del sensore

All sensors are pre-paired with the control panel. If re-pairing is needed, refer to the control panel's on-screen menu or app instructions.

3.3.1. Sensori di movimento

• Posizionamento: Install motion sensors in corners of rooms, hallways, or areas where intruders would likely pass. Mount them at a height of 6-8 feet (1.8-2.4 meters) for optimal detection.
• Evitare: Do not place near heat sources, direct sunlight, or areas with significant air drafts.

3.3.2. Sensori per porte/finestre

• Installazione: Mount the main sensor unit on the door or window frame and the smaller magnet unit on the moving part (door or window). Ensure the two parts are aligned and within 0.5 inches (1.2 cm) of each other when the door/window is closed.

3.4. Remote Controls and RFID Cards

• Telecomandi: Use the remote controls to arm, disarm, or trigger an emergency alarm. Buttons are typically labeled for these functions.
• Carte RFID: Tap an RFID card on the designated area of the control panel to quickly arm or disarm the system.

3.5. Security Camera Setup

Refer to the separate manual provided with the security camera for detailed setup instructions. Once configured, the camera can often be integrated and viewed through the Smart Life/Tuya Smart app.

3.6. 4G SIM Card Installation (Optional)

For SMS and phone call alerts, insert a 2G/3G/4G SIM card into the designated slot on the control panel. Ensure the SIM card is active and has sufficient credit/data. Note that telephone and SMS services may incur additional fees from your mobile carrier.

4. Funzionamento

4.1. Inserimento e disinserimento del sistema

• Attiva (modalità assente): Activates all sensors. Use when leaving the property. Can be done via control panel, remote, RFID card, or app.
• Disarmare: Deactivates all sensors. Use when returning home. Can be done via control panel, remote, RFID card, or app.
• Home Mode (Stay Arm): Activates perimeter sensors (e.g., door/window sensors) while allowing free movement inside. Check app settings for configuration.

4.2. Avvisi e notifiche

• Sirena: If a sensor is triggered while armed, the 120dB siren will activate to deter intruders.
• Notifiche dell'app: Receive real-time alerts on your smartphone via the Smart Life/Tuya Smart app.
• Chiamate telefoniche/SMS: If a SIM card is installed and configured, the system can send SMS messages and make calls to pre-set emergency contacts.

4.3. Controllo vocale con Alexa

To enable voice control, link your Smart Life/Tuya Smart account with Amazon Alexa. Once linked, you can use voice commands such as "Alexa, arm my home" or "Alexa, disarm my home" (a PIN may be required for disarming).

4.4. Anti-Tampquesta funzione

The control panel features a physical anti-tamper mechanism. Any forced removal or tampering with the panel will trigger an immediate alarm. The alarm can only be stopped by entering the correct password on the panel.

4.5. Espansione del sistema

The PGST system supports up to 99 additional sensors. To add new sensors, refer to the "Add Device" section in the Smart Life/Tuya Smart app or the control panel's settings menu.

5. Manutenzione

5.1. Sostituzione della batteria

• Pannello di controllo: The control panel has a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery for backup power. It charges automatically when connected to AC power.
• Sensori: Motion sensors and door/window sensors are battery-powered. The app or control panel will indicate low battery status. Replace batteries with the specified type (usually CR2032 or AAA, check individual sensor labels).
• Telecomandi: Remote controls use button cell batteries. Replace when functionality decreases.

5.2. Pulizia

Wipe the control panel and sensors with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the devices.
