Configurazione e installazione

This section provides instructions for installing your Vissani window air conditioner. A window opening with a maximum width of 36 inches is required.

Prima dell'installazione:

2. Ensure you have all necessary tools (screwdriver, measuring tape, level).
3. Choose a window that is structurally sound and can support the weight of the unit.

Fasi di installazione della finestra:

1. Preparare la finestra: Aprire la finestra e pulire la zona del davanzale.
2. Attacca la guida superiore: Secure the top rail to the top of the air conditioner unit with screws.
3. Installare i pannelli laterali: Slide the accordion side panels into the side channels of the unit.
4. Place Unit in Window: Carefully lift the unit and place it in the window opening, ensuring the bottom rail rests on the window sill. Tilt the unit slightly outwards to allow for proper drainage.
5. Estendi i pannelli laterali: Extend the accordion side panels to fill the window opening and secure them to the window frame with screws.
6. Finestra protetta: Lower the window sash behind the top rail of the unit. Install the sash lock and foam seals to prevent air leakage and provide security.

Istruzioni per l'uso

Your Vissani air conditioner can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the included remote control.

Funzioni del pannello di controllo:

• Pulsante ON/OFF: Premere per accendere o spegnere l'unità.
• Pulsante MODE: Cycles through operating modes: Auto, Cool, Dry (Dehumidify), Fan.
• Pulsante VENTOLA: Adjusts fan speed (Low, Med, High) in Fan mode. In Cool or Auto mode, it adjusts fan speed for cooling.
• Frecce su/giù della temperatura: Regola l'impostazione della temperatura desiderata.
• Modalità ecologica: Activates energy-saving operation. The fan will turn off when the compressor cycles off and will cycle on periodically to check room temperature.
• Pulsante TIMER: Sets a delay start or delay stop time (up to 24 hours).
• Tasto SONNO: Activates sleep mode, which gradually increases the set temperature over several hours for energy efficiency and comfort during sleep.
• Pulsante FILTRO: The filter clean warning light will illuminate after approximately 250 hours of operation. Press this button after cleaning the filter to reset the timer.

The remote control duplicates most functions of the control panel and adds the "I Sense" feature.

• I SENSE Button: When activated, the remote control acts as a thermostat, sensing the temperature at its location and adjusting the air conditioner's operation accordingly. This provides more precise temperature control in your immediate vicinity.
• Tasto C/F: Alterna la visualizzazione della temperatura tra Celsius e Fahrenheit.
• Pulsante display LED: Turns the LED display on the unit on or off.

Manutenzione

Una manutenzione regolare garantisce prestazioni ottimali e prolunga la durata del tuo condizionatore.

Pulizia del filtro dell'aria:

1. Spegni e scollega: Prima di procedere alla pulizia, spegnere sempre l'unità e scollegarla dalla presa di corrente.
2. Rimuovi filtro: Aprire la griglia anteriore ed estrarre con cautela il filtro dell'aria.
3. Filtro pulito: Lavare il filtro con acqua tiepida e sapone. Risciacquare abbondantemente. In caso di polvere ostinata, è possibile utilizzare prima un aspirapolvere.
4. Filtro a secco: Lasciare asciugare completamente il filtro all'aria prima di reinserirlo. Non esporre alla luce solare diretta o a fonti di calore.
5. Reinstalla filtro: Rimettere il filtro asciutto nella sua posizione e chiudere la griglia anteriore.
6. Reimposta luce filtro: Press the "FILTER" button on the control panel or remote to reset the filter clean warning light.

Raccomandazione: Pulire il filtro dell'aria ogni due settimane o più frequentemente se l'unità viene utilizzata in un ambiente polveroso.

Cleaning the Unit Casing:

• Pulisci il casing con un morbido, damp stoffa.
• Non utilizzare prodotti chimici aggressivi, abrasivi o solventi, poiché potrebbero danneggiare la superficie.

Rimessaggio invernale:

• If storing the unit for an extended period, clean the air filter and ensure the unit is dry.
• Store the unit in an upright position in a dry, cool place.
