3. Configurazione e installazione

Follow these steps to set up your KETOTEK KTEM03 Watt Meter Plug:

  1. Disimballaggio: Carefully remove the watt meter plug and display unit from its packaging. Locate the user manual and any included accessories.

3.1 Accensione iniziale

Upon plugging in the device, the LCD screen will illuminate. The backlight will remain active for 10 minutes by default. To turn off the backlight, press and hold the "+" button for 3 seconds. Pressing any button will reactivate the backlight.

4. Funzionamento

The KTEM03 features five buttons for navigating and accessing various measurement data:

  • Pulsante M (Costo): Press to display kWh and electricity cost.
  • Pulsante + (VA): Press to display Watt (W) and Apparent Power (VA).
  • Pulsante OK (A): Press once to display Voltage (V) and Current (A). Press and hold for 3 seconds to display the complete accumulated time.
  • - (PF) Pulsante: Press to display Frequency (Hz) and Power Factor (PF).
  • Pulsante massimo/minimo: Press to display maximum and minimum power readings.

5. Settings and Data Management

5.1 Impostazione dei parametri

To enter the setting mode for various parameters, press and hold the M (Cost) button for 3 seconds. You can then adjust settings such as:

  • Overload value (0-3680W)
  • Cost alarm value
  • KWh alarm value
  • Unit price rate

After adjusting a setting, press and hold the M (Cost) button for 3 seconds again to save and exit the setting mode.

5.2 Data Storage and Reset

The KTEM03 automatically saves all collected data even during a power outage, allowing you to move the meter without losing information. You have two options for resetting data:

  • Clear Historical Data (Keep Settings): Press and hold the "+" and "-" buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. This clears accumulated data but retains your custom settings.
  • Ripristino di fabbrica: Press and hold the "Max/Min" button for 3 seconds. This restores all settings to their factory defaults and clears all data.

The KTEM03 Watt Meter Plug incorporates multiple protection features to safeguard your appliances and alert you to potential issues:

  • Allarme sovraccarico: If the connected load's power exceeds the set overload value (standard 3680W, adjustable), the LCD will display "Overload" and an LED light will blink continuously.
  • KWh Alarm: If the total power consumption exceeds the set kWh alarm value, the LCD will show "KWh ALARM" and the LED will blink.
  • Allarme costi: If the accumulated electricity cost surpasses the set cost alarm value, the LCD will display "COST ALARM" and the LED will blink.
