2. Installazione e configurazione

2.1 Montaggio

Mount the controller in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, high temperatures, and water. Ensure there is sufficient airflow around the heat sink fins (see Figure 3) for proper cooling. The controller should be mounted vertically on a wall or stable surface.

2.2 Istruzioni per il cablaggio

Follow these steps for safe and correct wiring:

  1. Preparare il controller: Open the terminal cover and loosen the screw terminals.
  2. Collegare la batteria: Connect the battery to the controller's battery terminals first. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -). The controller will automatically detect the 12V or 24V system voltage.
  3. Collegare il pannello solare: Collegare il pannello solare ai terminali FV del controller. Assicurarsi della corretta polarità.
  4. Collegare il carico (facoltativo): Se si utilizza un carico CC direttamente dal controller, collegarlo ai terminali del carico.

Important: Always connect the battery first, then the solar panel. Disconnect in reverse order (solar panel first, then battery).

3. Funzionamento

3.1 LCD Display and Parameter Setting

The controller features an LCD screen that dynamically displays operating data and working status. Use the 'MENU' and 'SET' buttons to navigate and adjust parameters.

Common display interfaces include:

3.2 Selezione del tipo di batteria

3.3 Modalità di lavoro del carico

The controller offers various load control modes to suit different applications:

Load working modes: Manual (24H), Solar Light Control (Sunset-Sunrise), and Solar Light + Time Control (Sunset on + time + Sunrise off).

  • Modalità manuale (24 ore): The load is continuously on for 24 hours.

4. Manutenzione

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your PowMr solar charge controller, regular maintenance is recommended:

  • Mantenere pulito: Periodically clean the controller's exterior, especially the heat sink fins, to prevent dust buildup that can hinder cooling.
