1. Introduzione

The Xprinter XP-80T is a high-speed 80mm thermal receipt printer designed for various point-of-sale environments, such as supermarkets, retail stores, and restaurants. It features direct thermal printing technology, eliminating the need for ink cartridges or carbon belts, and includes an auto-cutter for efficient operation. 2. Contenuto della confezione

3. Istruzioni per l'installazione

3.1 Collegamento della stampante

1. Connetti alimentazione: Insert the power cord into the printer's power interface and then into a suitable electrical outlet (100-240V).
2. Collegare il cavo dati:
   • USB Model: Connect the USB data cable from the printer's USB port to an available USB port on your computer.
   • USB+Ethernet Model: Connect the USB data cable as described above, or connect an Ethernet cable from the printer's network interface to your network router or switch.
3. Connect Cash Drawer (Optional): If using a cash drawer, connect its cable to the printer's cashbox interface.

3.2 Caricamento della carta termica

1. Assicurarsi che la stampante sia spenta o in modalità standby.
2. Press the cover open button or lift the cover release lever to open the top cover of the printer.
3. Place the thermal paper roll onto the support pole, ensuring the paper feeds from the bottom of the roll.
4. Insert the paper roll and support pole into the paper compartment.
5. Estrarre una piccola quantità di carta dalla taglierina.
6. Chiudere saldamente il coperchio superiore finché non scatta in posizione. La stampante alimenterà automaticamente la carta nella posizione di partenza corretta.

3.3 Installazione del driver

To ensure proper communication between your computer and the printer, you must install the appropriate drivers. Drivers are available for Windows, Linux, and Mac OS.

4.1 Stampa di base

Once the printer is connected and drivers are installed, you can print receipts from your POS software or any application that supports printing. The XP-80T offers high-speed printing at 200mm/s and features an automatic cutter for clean receipt separation.

5. Manutenzione

5.1 Pulizia della testina di stampa

Regular cleaning of the print head ensures optimal print quality and extends the printer's lifespan. Clean the print head with an alcohol swab or a specialized print head cleaning pen when print quality degrades or after every few paper roll changes.

5.2 Pulizia dell'esterno

5.3 Paper Management

Always use high-quality thermal paper. Store thermal paper in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent premature fading of receipts.

6. Risoluzione Dei Problemi

• Nessun potere: Ensure the power cord is securely connected to both the printer and the power outlet. Check if the power adapter is functioning.
• No Printing:
  • Verify that the printer is powered on and the paper roll is correctly loaded.
  • Check the data cable connection (USB or Ethernet) to the computer/network.
  • Ensure the correct printer driver is installed and selected in your operating system's printer settings.

• Scarsa qualità di stampa:
  • The thermal paper might be loaded incorrectly (upside down).
  • The thermal paper might be old or of poor quality.
