4. Configurazione e installazione

Follow these steps to properly set up and install your JMCQ Car DVR:

4.1 Contenuto della confezione

4.2 Installazione e formattazione della scheda di memoria

1. Insert a TF (Micro SD) card (Class 10, up to 128GB recommended) into the designated slot on the DVR.
2. Importante: When installing a memory card for the first time, it is crucial to format it directly on the DVR. Formatting on a computer is an incorrect operation and may lead to compatibility issues.
3. To format, enter the DVR's menu, locate the 'Format' option, and confirm to format the memory card. This ensures the DVR correctly matches and utilizes the memory card.

4.3 Montaggio della Dash Cam

1. Pulisci la zona del parabrezza in cui intendi montare la dash cam.
2. Press the suction cup of the dash cam firmly onto the windshield. Ensure the suction cup is in a flat position for secure attachment.
3. Adjust the angle of the main unit to capture the desired front, left, and right views.

4.4 Collegamento della telecamera posteriore

1. Connect the provided 6m cable to the rear camera.
2. Route the cable neatly along the vehicle's interior to the main DVR unit.
3. Connect the other end of the 6m cable to the AV-In port on the main DVR unit.
4. Mount the rear camera in a suitable location at the back of your vehicle, ensuring a clear view. The external rear-view camera allows for angle adjustment.

4.5 Collegamento di alimentazione

1. Connect the car charger to the Type-C input port on the dash cam.

• Accensione/spegnimento: The device automatically powers on with vehicle ignition and powers off when the ignition is off. You can also manually power it on/off using the power button.
• Registrazione: Once powered on and a formatted memory card is inserted, the DVR will automatically start continuous loop recording.

6. Manutenzione

• Temperatura: Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures for prolonged periods, as this can affect its lifespan and performance. The operating temperature range is -20°C to +80°C.

Q: The DVR is not powering on.

A: Check if the car charger is properly plugged into the vehicle's 12V outlet and the Type-C port on the DVR. Ensure the vehicle's ignition is on. Test the charger with another device if possible.

Q: The rear camera is not visible on the screen.

A: Ensure the rear camera cable is securely connected to both the rear camera and the AV-In port on the main DVR unit. Check the DVR's menu settings to confirm the rear camera input is enabled or selected for display.

Q: The DVR stops recording or shows a memory card error.

A: Ensure you are using a Class 10 TF card (up to 128GB). Format the memory card on the DVR itself (not on a computer). If the issue persists, try a different memory card.

Q: I cannot connect to the internet using the dash cam's WiFi.

A: The built-in WiFi is exclusively for connecting to the dedicated mobile application for viewing e download di footage. It does not provide internet access for browsing or streaming.

Q: The video quality is poor at night.
