1. Introduzione

3. Configurazione e installazione

Follow these steps to install your ASMAX Z1 intercom on your helmet:

1. Prepare the Main Unit and Mount: Attach the Z1 Main Unit to the Magnet Mount.

2. Fissare il supporto al casco: Secure the Magnet Mount to the side of your helmet using either the 3M Glue Plate or the Metal Clamp. Ensure a firm attachment.

3. Installare gli altoparlanti: Place the speaker units inside the helmet's ear pockets. Use the provided Velcro pads to secure them. Ensure they are positioned comfortably over your ears.

4. Collegare il microfono: Choose between the Hybrid Microphone (boom mic) or the Wired Microphone (button mic) based on your helmet type (full-face or open-face). Connect it to the main unit.

5. Cavi del percorso: Carefully route all cables (speakers and microphone) within the helmet lining to avoid interference and ensure comfort. Connect them to the Z1 Main Unit.

4. Operazioni di base

4.1 Accensione/spegnimento

• Accensione: Tenere premuto il pulsante Funzione per 2 secondi.

4.2 Controllo del volume

• Comando vocale: Say "Hi Max, volume up" to increase volume, or "Hi Max, volume down" to decrease volume.

4.3 Indicatori LED

The LED indicator on the Intercom Button and Function Button provides status information:

• Blu: Bluetooth connected / Intercom active
• Rosso: In carica / Batteria scarica

• Flashing Red/Blue: Modalità di associazione

4.4 Ricarica

The ASMAX Z1 features a Type-C charging port and a 1050mAh battery with fast charging. A full charge takes approximately 42 minutes, providing up to 14 hours of talk time or 17 hours of music time.

• Connect the provided Type-C cable to the charging port on the main unit and a suitable USB power source.

5. Phone and GPS Pairing

Connect your ASMAX Z1 to your smartphone or GPS device for calls, music, and navigation.

5.1 Voice Command Pairing

• Say "Hi Max, phone pairing" to initiate pairing mode.

5.2 Button Control Pairing

• In standby mode, press and hold the Function Button for 1 second until the LED indicator flashes red and blue.
• On your smartphone or GPS device, go to Bluetooth settings and search for "ASMAX Z1".
• Select "ASMAX Z1" to connect. The LED will turn blue when successfully paired.

6. Telefonate

6.1 Rispondere alle chiamate

7.1 Play/Pause Music

7.2 Previous/Next Track

• Comando vocale: Say "Hi Max, previous track" or "Hi Max, next track".

8. Intercom Modes

The ASMAX Z1 supports various intercom modes for group communication.

8.1 Mesh di gruppo

Connect effortlessly with up to 10 riders for seamless communication up to 1.8 km.

8.4 Modalità Universale

Allows pairing with other brands of intercoms.

• Other Brand Intercom: Follow the instructions of the other brand's intercom to enter pairing mode.
• Avvia Intercom: Once paired, tap the Intercom Button twice to start communication.

11. Aggiornamento del firmware

To ensure optimal performance and access to the latest features, it is recommended to keep your ASMAX Z1 firmware updated. Updates are managed through the ASMAX WORLD mobile application.

1. Scarica l'App: Scan the QR code in the Quick Start Guide (page 4) or search for "ASMAX WORLD" on Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
2. Register/Connect: Open the app and register an account. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your ASMAX Z1 unit.
