2. Impostazione

2. Pulizia iniziale: Before first use, wash the carafe and the removable filter basket with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly. It is recommended to run two full cycles of water through the coffee maker without coffee grounds to remove any manufacturing odors.
3. Posizionamento: Place the coffee maker on a flat, stable surface away from the edge of the counter. Ensure it is near an electrical outlet.
4. Imposta l'orologio: Plug the coffee maker into a 110-volt AC electrical outlet. The digital display will flash. Press the ORA E MINUTO buttons to set the current time. Hold the buttons down for rapid scrolling or press repeatedly for single increments.

3.1 Erogazione del caffè

1. Riempire il serbatoio dell'acqua: Open the top lid and fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water using the carafe. The water window on the side indicates the water level. Do not exceed the 5-cup maximum fill line.
2. Aggiungi fondi di caffè: Place a paper filter (basket-style) into the removable filter basket. Add the desired amount of ground coffee. A general guideline is one tablespoon of coffee per cup, adjusted to personal preference.

3.2 Using Delay Brew

4.2 Decalcificazione

Mineral deposits (calcium) can build up in your coffee maker over time, affecting performance. Descale your coffee maker regularly (e.g., monthly or every 40-80 uses, depending on water hardness).

1. Fill the water reservoir with white vinegar up to the 5-cup mark.

8. Run 2-3 full cycles of fresh, cold water through the coffee maker to flush out any remaining vinegar taste or odor.
