4. Impostazione

4.1 Disimballaggio e posizionamento

Carefully remove the printer from its packaging. Place the printer on a flat, stable surface near your computer or POS system.

• Connessione USB: Connect one end of a USB cable (Type B) to the USB port on the printer and the other end to an available USB port on your computer or POS system.
• Connessione seriale: Connect one end of a serial cable (DB9) to the serial port on the printer and the other end to an available serial port on your computer or POS system.

4.4 Caricamento del rotolo di carta

2. Insert the new paper roll into the paper compartment with the paper feeding from the bottom.

4.5 Installazione del driver

Before using the printer, you must install the appropriate drivers on your computer or POS system. Drivers are typically available on the Bixolon official website. Follow the instructions provided with the driver package for installation.

5. Utilizzo della stampante

5.1 Accensione/Spegnimento

To power on the printer, press the power switch located on the side or back of the printer to the 'ON' position. To power off, press the switch to the 'OFF' position.

5.2 Indicatori di stato

The printer features LED indicators to show its current status:

6. Manutenzione

Regular cleaning of the print head ensures optimal print quality and extends printer life. Clean the print head using an alcohol swab or a specialized print head cleaning pen.
