Configurazione e installazione
The Faber TENDER X A90 is designed for wall-mounted installation. Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance and safety. It supports both ducted (extraction) and ductless (recirculating) ventilation modes.
Dimensioni e distanza
Refer to the diagram below for precise dimensions and recommended clearances for installation. Ensure adequate space above the cooking surface and around the hood for proper air circulation and maintenance.

Descrizione dell'immagine: A technical line drawing illustrating the dimensions of the Faber TENDER X A90 wall-mounted range hood. Key measurements are indicated in millimeters. The overall width is shown as 898 mm (corresponding to the A90 model), depth as 499 mm, and height of the main body as 240 mm. The chimney section has a width of 228 mm and a depth of 210 mm. The total height of the chimney is 560 mm, with an additional 200 mm section. The exhaust outlet diameter is 120 mm, with an outer diameter of 150 mm, and is positioned 320 mm from the base of the chimney. These dimensions are critical for planning the installation space and ducting.
- Montaggio a parete: Securely fasten the hood to a sturdy wall structure using appropriate fixings.
- Condotti (modalità di estrazione): If using extraction mode, connect the hood's outlet (120mm diameter) to an external ducting system. Ensure the ducting is as short and straight as possible to maximize airflow.
- Recirculating (Ductless Mode): If using recirculating mode, install optional charcoal filters (not included) to purify the air before it is returned to the kitchen. No external ducting is required for this mode.
- Collegamento elettrico: Connect the hood to a suitable power supply according to local electrical codes. Ensure the power is off during installation.
Istruzioni per l'uso
The Faber TENDER X A90 range hood is operated via push-button controls located on the front panel.
Controlli
Il pannello di controllo in genere include pulsanti per:
- Accensione/spegnimento: Activates or deactivates the hood.
- Selezione della velocità della ventola: Multiple speed settings (e.g., Low, Medium, High) to adjust airflow based on cooking intensity. The maximum airflow is 420 m³/h.
- Luce accesa/spenta: Controls the halogen lighting system.
Suggerimenti per l'uso
- Accendere la cappa qualche minuto prima di iniziare a cucinare per creare un flusso d'aria.
- Select the appropriate fan speed for the amount of smoke and odors being produced.
- Allow the hood to run for a few minutes after cooking to clear any residual fumes.
- For optimal performance, ensure windows and doors are not excessively open, as this can disrupt airflow.
Manutenzione e pulizia
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficient operation of your range hood. Always disconnect the power supply before performing any maintenance or cleaning.
Filtri antigrasso
The metallic grease filters are designed to trap grease particles from cooking fumes. They are sfoderabile e lavabile.
- To remove, locate the release latches or clips on the filters and gently pull them down.
- Wash the filters by hand in hot soapy water or in a dishwasher (ensure they are placed to avoid damage).
- Lasciare asciugare completamente i filtri prima di reinstallarli.
- Clean grease filters at least once a month, or more frequently depending on cooking habits.
Charcoal Filters (for Recirculating Mode)
If your hood is operating in recirculating mode, it will be equipped with charcoal filters (not included with the product, purchased separately). These filters cannot be washed and must be replaced periodically, typically every 3-6 months, depending on usage.
Pulizia esterna
Clean the stainless steel exterior with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner specifically designed for stainless steel. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive pads that can scratch the surface.
Sostituzione della lampadina
The hood uses halogen light bulbs. To replace a bulb:
- Ensure the hood is disconnected from the power supply.
- Carefully remove the old bulb.
- Insert a new halogen bulb of the same type and wattage (28 watt).
